LE CLOS DE LA GARENNE

So happy to have found this hotel. We arrived just in time for a delicious dinner.. had a great night’s sleep in the most comfortable and charming of rooms. A quick walk up to view the castle before a fresh and carefully prepared breakfast. All the staff were first class. A perfect stay.

We called one night because we needed a room for us and our two little kids, as all the car chargers around didn’t work. Although there were available rooms online, they told us they couldn’t help. I guess it was too late for them to prepare a room.. thank you for being so careless.

We stayed in a junior suite, very comfortable super-king bed & whisper quiet air conditioning. Beautifully appointed, private balcony & large immaculate bathroom. Very friendly staff and excellent restaurant. Right next to extensive woods with a walk up to chateau du Haut-Barr.

Excellent stay en route to the Alps. Rooms have obviously been recently modernised so very clean and comfortable. The outdoor restaurant was superb and very busy with locals which is a great sign. Food was first class and waiters very efficient and friendly. Good large car park and out of sight of the road for security if you have a motorbike. A great stay!

A very pleasant experience. Spotless room vet quiet and with a great mixing of old and new. More than welcomed sauna after a day of riding. Restaurant and food the very best. I have decided to go with the chef's choice and I wasn't wrong. Perfect Thank you

Short trip, but a great experience. Late check-in worked perfect. Super friendly personel and very good breakfast.

Big, quiet room (number 2) with a nice view, a great, healthy breakfast with fresh fruits& vegetables! Breakfast room had a nice view over the valley! Service was very polite and friendly. The hotel is on top of a hill (old castle in the near) with a very nice forest behind it - quiet and a great view. Patking is no problem.

This is a really nice hotel. The welcome was warm and friendly. The decor is modern but retains a homely feel. I’d imagine this place is very cozy in the winter. Great view from my bedroom which was on the top floor. Breakfast was really good and was enough to keep me going for the rest of the day. I booked here specifically because the restaurant looks excellent and has good reviews. Unfortunately I stayed on a Sunday which is when it’s closed for dinner service. I would definitely love to stay here again. I can thoroughly recommend La Garenne.
