Amazing place with unique atmosphere and sustainable, digital detox philosophy. The staff is very kind and helpful, we had a blind tasting surprising dinner with ingredients that the chef picked from the forest - the restaurant has a quiet, warm and natural environment. The rooms are warm, spacious and well designed and the view over the forest on both sides is just breathtaking. The morning breakfast in the basket invites you to slow down and not look at your watch. Will definitely return!

The concept and much of the execution is excellent. We booked a dinner, bed and breakfast package but were informed on arrival that the main restaurant was fully booked. We ate an indifferent meal in the very pleasant outdoor area of the Lebanese-themed bistro. One dish - spinach parcels - were barely cooked but we were charged for them all the same. Service was a bit patchy but pleasant. The front of house team get very busy at check in and departure times so there can be a lot of hanging about.

Went there for our first meeting anniversary. The hotel prepared our room perfectly. The restaurant in the evening was also very tasty except the dessert that was way too sweet. After a nice sauna in the terrace and 30min jacuzzi we felt asleep perfectly. Those lodge have real stunning views on the forest and very good quality finish. I have removed one star for the breakfast that was really below average. The idea of handing your breakfast outside is pretty cool for the negative side is that it’s only cold dishes served. The second day even the fresh bread was soft. No way to ask fresh eggs or omelette. At the price per day they charge, they could almost bring you a chef in your lodge to cook for you.

This was the most wonderful stay I have ever experienced. The grounds from arrival were absolutely breathtaking, and everything you could ever imagine needing is there from the start. If you want to have a relaxing time in nature while still having it feel like luxury this is the place to go! We used the bikes and rode around the forest one afternoon, then we explored the garden which had delicious fresh strawberries while we were there. The pool was absolutely breathtaking and we enjoyed swimming and tanning there with the amazing lounge chairs. |The restaurant was another incredible experience. It was high class without making you feel like you were going to use the wrong fork. The food was full of flavors and tastefully plated. The ambiance of the restaurant was very high class and we loved our stay!

Loire Valley Lodges is a unique experience. The young staff are friendly and enthusiastic, you feel that they are thrilled to be part of an experience you're going to enjoy. The rooms/lodges lack for nothing, coming with your own personal jacuzzi and sauna. Breakfast, delivered in a hamper to be winched up into your lodge, means there's no need for a last minute dash to the restaurant. Speaking of which, there are two, a bistro and a Michelin starred. Food and service at both is right up there. In short, I cannot recommend Loire Valley Lodges too highly.

WOW. After driving through a dense forest the cosy, charming farm-like hotel reveals itself. We got briefed by the receptionist, given a flashlight and walkie-talkie and then headed to a 4m high lodge completely isolated. It has a sauna, a jacuzzi and a giant window immersed in the trees. In the morning, a basket of deliciousness arrives for breakfast and at night the young chefs cooked with a big smile explaining the dishes. I loved the calm, friendliness and special touches from very caring owners. Highly recommended if you want to disconnect from the day to day and reconnect with nature...

My partner and I needed to unplug from the burn out of our busy day-to-day routine. We wanted to create a special weekend to reconnect. Loire Valley Lodges pulled all the stops and delivered! We lived ! These amazing artsy lodges are 20 minutes from the famous Chenonceaux castle. We were dazzled by the sensory experience. Truly! Everything has been carefully cured and thought of for your enjoyment. The owners here are behind every detail like we have never seen in the world. We travel extensively and nowhere can you find this level of passionate customer service. Ask and thy shall receive ! |We walked the forest trails with the birds singing in our ears, rode the bikes around and outside the lush property gates to enjoy the sunflower fields, we swam in the gorgeous pool, and had a heavenly massage in the privacy of our comfortable artsy lodge. Absolutely, positively everything you eat, touch, look at has been carefully considered! Even the roses are oversized and smell divine ! The food is from the home grown “potager” for a farm to table fine dining experience ! Absolutely everything on site is a delight to your eyes, nose, ears, and an unforgettable feast to your mouth. Splashes of red, yellow, purple, with a soft embrace accompanies your every step. This is the antidote to our overcooked, sterile Disney World ! Come here to refresh, rejuvenate, reboot, feeeeeeeel! |And try to meet Bertrand & Anne Caroline, they’re super heroes in the flesh, what an amazing couple. Give them a pat on the back.
