We've been staying at this hotel in February for the past 4 years, and it's been great for us. About €120 for a night on our way to and from the Alps. However for 2027, the hotel has increased it's rate to €365 per room per night!?! I've spoken to the booking team and they've said it's the hotels decision on pricing :( Such a shame, will have to look elsewhere. Barring the pricing issue, if you can find it at a reasonable rate, I'd recommend it. Follow-up: The hotel has been in touch following my review and have explained that prices have yet to be officially released for February 2027 but have let me contact them direct to arrange a much improved rate. Thank you Best Western :)
A nice and quiet hotel. Excellent staf and very good English. Always try to speak French but sometimes it can be challenging. Had a very good sleep, nice and comfy beds. A nice bathroom and coffee and tea with a electric kettle.
Excellent service - we had an issue with our dog before leaving and we had to delay and the hotel moved the booking to the following day with no issue. |It is a perfect stop off on the way to the alps with plenty of amenities close by so there is a wide choice of food which also is discounted when you stay in the hotel. It is our second stop and we would book again. |Parking is on site and secure for a 12 euro charge or you can park in the free part but it was very busy when we stayed on Saturday. |Rooms are comfortable and clean.
Good location , very good breakfast. There are two restaurants next to the hotel.
The location is great, just a sort walk from a tram stop with plenty of restaurant options just outside the hotel. I found the rooms on the small side, but they are clean and fully equipped. The staff are friendly and one was very protective of the little pots of milk to make tea with. I asked for some extra at reception and was given 1. (For 2 people!) I would suggest buying a carton of milk for anyone liking milk in their tea / coffee. This is my only niggle. Overall a great place to stay.
Modern, clean, spacious room & very good service made our stay here really pleasant. The tram into the centre of Dijon is only a few minutes walk. The only issue was that it wasn’t clear when booked (direct on website) that parking needs to be paid for (10 euros per day when we stayed). Apart from that - a brilliant choice for a stopover on the way south.
We had a wonderful experience during our recent stay at this hotel. Léna was incredibly helpful before we set off ensuring that our requirements were met. From the moment we arrived, the front desk made us feel welcomed - they were knowledgeable about the hotel’s amenities, our room, and gave us recommendations for nearby places to eat (there are several restaurants next to the hotel and most provide a discount if you stay at this hotel). The location is ideal for a stop off en route for longer drives as it is located close to the main roads. Every member of staff we encountered was warm, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. The room was great, had everything we needed, was quiet and the hotel even provided complimentary still and sparkling water. Highly recommended!
Just passing through on our way to the Alps but this place was perfect! A free football table in reception for a start, so two bored kids could already let off some steam with a little activity whilst we checked in. Helpful friendly staff who were quite welcoming.||The family room was had was quite spacious and the layout meant there was a little privacy between the main bed and the double sofa bed. Clean, tidy room and nicely decorated. Nice bathroom too with twin sinks, reasonable sized bath and enough space to move. My husband and son report a comfortable night on the bed and they liked the memory foam pillows. My other son and I had the large sofa bed which was also very comfortable, although it was quite creaky. It was a bit noisy as we could hear the plumbing from adjoining rooms quite loudly but we were very tired so it wasn’t too bothersome.||A pretty decent breakfast in the morning (kids’ were inclusive) and well stocked even though it was busy. The secure parking was €10 but free if you join the rewards scheme (also free). It meant we didn’t worry about our ski stuff overnight as it looked very safe. ||The hotel is in a leisure complex with a bowling alley, cinema and a few restaurants. It was busy as it was a Friday night but we had a perfectly good meal at the pizza place. You get 10 or 15% off at the restaurants if you show your hotel card. More child energy expended at the amusement part of the bowling alley whilst hubby queued for the table so everyone was happy. All in all couldn’t have been better really, a perfect spot and we will definitely stop there again next time we’re in Dijon.
