Bad luck if you’re in Vendôme Monday Tuesday or Sunday when MORIS is closed 😉Otherwise if you enjoy imaginative French cuisine I would recommend this restaurant. The food is delicious but it’s not at all pretentious. The staff are lovely and it’s very laid back. Quite reasonably priced for the quality of food and drink

5* Because the smoked sturgeon appetiser was so sublime, it makes the list of dishes I'd happily have once a week for life. The bread too is right up at the top of the list of greats. Sadly, the much anticipated soup didn't make the grade, largely due to the poor strawberries that made an appearance later, to similar effect. The mains were excellent. This fish, sea bass, dominates European menus in a depressing way. However, it's handled with grace and style here. Perfectly cooked, with time to finish on the way to the table, a wonderful shellfish stock based sauce, and appropriate vegetables, well-handled. Those strawberries returned for dessert and deflated us like a nail in a Michelin. France has the most wonderful strawberries on earth. Usually, the best are small and unevenly sized and shaped, yet with more flavour than one could imagine. Or the sublime praise du Bois that can be other wordly... Sadly, what's used here are the large global strawberries, and they and their expertly made sorbet, and coulis are as free of dimension as the paper the menu is printed on. I like this place and would gladly return. When an ingredient arrives in the back door, and isn't up to the task that the menu sets out for it. it's time to change the menu.

A fantastic restaurant. The food was amazing and very creative with super fresh local ingredients. The service was great as well. My wife and I were interested in trying a wine from the area. A grape that we were not familiar with. The waiter was able to find something we loved that was very interesting. If I find myself in town again I will revisit for sure.

Exquisite and thoughtful. The best meal I have had in France. Attentive and cheerful staff, and a cute location.
