Cute, clean and comfortable rooms, magnificient nature around, great food at the restaurant, magic atmosphere! The view is beautiful! I liked the breakfast, however it could be a little bit more original, may be some possibilities to eat eggs too or fresh orange juice could be a huge plus! But it was ok for the price and the view is amazing!
Absolutely incredible restaurant!!! The food is spectacular, innovative, fresh, unique, and so so basque. The location is absolutely top - farm yet clifftop and gorgeous endless views. The wine selection is reasonable. I cannot wait to come back here again! Great for families, friends or even business dinners. Super memorable for all!
Nice rooms and view, but overall below expectations We stayed three persons for two nights in a beautiful room at this bed and breakfast. While the interior decoration and the mountain view was top class, one of the beds was absolutely poor and worn down to a u-shape. During afternoons and evenings, a mechanical installation above our room made the terrace door shutter and rattle constantly. We enjoyed the breakfast which was tasty and decoratively arranged. We were charged an additional 90 euros for that. I would expect breakfast to be included in the price of a room in a bed and breakfast. At Ostalapia, we were asked what we wanted for breakfast, but we were not informed that we would be charged extra. Overall a nice, but below expectations stay.
Didn't stay at the hotel. Stoped for and amazing dinner experience. The food was as creative as the place was charming. This was a stop in Anthony Boudain's San Sebastian episode.
Highly recommend this Pas Basque hotel. Very clean, with beautiful views of the mountains. Our bedroom was traduonal for the region. I loved the paintings on the walls. Breakfast was simple, would of like to have had maybe a cheese from the region. Service was good, rooms not too expensive. Loved the restaurant very quaint, however was closed.
Heard a lot about this place from family French locals. Maybe it was a bad day, but the food was very disappointing. I counted five tables to serve that day and the service was very slow, over two hours to finish our meal. Complementary rillettes served with stale bread, pretending it was toasted. Starters came stone cold, like not defrosted long enough! The atmosphere wasn't much better, with only management's friends looked after with friendly chats and free "digestifs" at the end of their meal. Also, even though I love dogs, the barking in the restaurant and begging at guests' tables, is not ideal. The restaurant itself is beautiful and rustic with outstanding views of the Pyrenees but sadly, doesn't live up to the expectations. L'habit ne fait pas le moine. Very disappointed, if you're reading this (the management) you'll be pleased to know, I won't be coming back.
Beautiful farm house style decoration, welcoming log fire in the big restaurant. There is also a beautifully decorated separate room in light colours for parties.. Very warm and welcoming atmosphere. Dishes deliciously cooked and nicely decorated. Will come back..
Really good menu in a rustic settings. We ate incredible sea food starters and pork mains. The food was generous and delicious. I'd be interested into staying the night because the restaurant service was impeccable and I'm sure the hotel would be just as good.
