We stayed here for two nights on a walking holiday. See a review of their restaurant in their separate listing that is not as good as their hotel on some days?|The room we had at the top of the hotel was quiet and very nice. Slightly tired bathroom but bed good and an additional sitting area and patio.|Staff friendly throughout and the provided picnic was excellent. |Simple (non buffet and pre-ordered) breakfast was good and wholesome.
Amazing hotel in a great setting. Parking provided in a CCTV'd closed parking lot. We were picked up by a very friendly staff member from the lot and accompanied to the reception. Rooms were very spacious and lovely decorated in typical old southern French style. Be sure to reserve a table for dinner as the restaurant is extremely good with very reasonable prices. Highly recommended for overnight stays.
This is a lovely little hotel in a quiet village, within striking distance of the pont du gard, either by foot or car. Our room, in a 200 y.o. building, was spacious and quiet, with a very comfortable bed. The decoration was tasteful but quite quirky. One wall was decorated with a plane (?) tree in 3D, and we were provided with bath salts even though we only had a shower. ||The hotel has a small unheated pool and spa - ideal for cooling off on a hot day, but not for serious exercise.||There is a very pleasant courtyard where we enjoyed a truly excellent meal.
We spend one night in this beautiful hotel in a small village. We had a nice view from our room over the village. ||||The staff is very nice and try to make its best against the covid situation.||||Unfortunately the AC was off due to Covid and the temperature was a bit high.||||We really liked the terrace with a lot of shadow.||||We found the breakfast buffet a bit under our expectations. It is mainly a matter of presentation.||||Our room was clean but the toilet would surely benefit from a small renovation.
We were lucky enough to visit the crowded area off season, which was a real luxury. Collias is very peaceful place. The hostellerie is located in a beautiful mansion, we stayed in one of the suite on the 2nd floor. Furnished and decorated with taste and style. Offering a large terrace. We experienced a few technical problems but the staff was really reactive and nice about it. The restaurant is a must, renowed, it really worth it. The outside is also very cozy and lovely with a little swimming pool nestled in the garden. Very beautiful place to discover
Beautiful and welcoming inn. Art work is amazing all throughout. Great meals and friendly staff. The parking situation is a bit confusing as it is around the corner and up a street. Arriving on Mother's day in France, we had to wait for someone to come and help us with our luggage, not knowing where the entrance to the building was. All ended well, and we enjoyed our stay.
A lovely hotel with wonderful hosts. We arrived late but they were there to guide us to our free parking and help us with our bags. Dinner was excellent! Unfortunately there is a town clock that chimes at 7AM but no fault of the establishment. The large windows provided a wonderful cook evening breeze.
This was our 3 rd. visit and we simply love this place . Beautiful setting in a shaded garden and fantastic food are a wonderful combination for any special holiday treat. If you are in the area on your travels ,it's worth a small detour to experience this place. If you can, stay one night or more: if not,you will surely have a lunch to remember...we have always been delighted with this place. Merci.
