Very convenient and highly recommended for business trips. Probably best choice in the area. Hotel and restaurant together. ||Best: |- Top customer service both in hotel and restaurant |- Obi chief officer doggo 🐶 😀|- Fresh natural orange juice in breakfast |- Super tasty food menu in restaurant|- Use of local products. |- Non repetitive restaurant menu every day|- Comfortable beds and quiet rooms|- Use of refillable soap containers. No monodosis that creates plastic waste. ||Areas of improvement:|- To have available lactose free milk, gluten free bread in breakfast|- To improve allergens marking in menu|- To have a protocol to minimize towels switching during the stay.||I had a wonderful stay. ☺️
My son found this hotel last year, and decided to stay here again because it was cheap and more than adequate. We were there at the end of June and fortunate to have beautiful weather.||It is easy to find, just off the main road, and there is plenty of parking. The hotel is set in lovely grounds, surrounded by trees and greenery, and there is a pleasant seating area outside.||||My son was greeted like an old friend, and we were both made extremely welcome. The corridor to the bedrooms is painted in a dark purple, and is ghastly and dark.||The bedrooms are not too small, and the bathroom is also an acceptable size, although the bath tub is tiny, and too small to lie in. The decor in the room, and the carpets have seen better days, but this is 2 *, so one does not expect much more. The bed was gloriously comfortable, as were the pillows. I had brought my own tea bags and asked for a kettle which was provided immediately.||I had dinner in the restaurant, and the service was good, but we were the only people there. Dinner was nice.||Breakfast was a revelation. I do not usually stay in 2* hotels, but expected instant coffee and a croissant. Instead, there was good coffee, an array of fresh breads, cheeses, fruit, yogurt and an egg boiler to boil your eggs to your preference. The jams were set out in small containers. Considerably better than many 4*hotels I have stayed in. ||For lunch I went to the local supermarket (1 minute away) and bought some food. I asked the proprietor of the hotel for a plate and knife and fork, which he brought together with a couple of napkins. He clearly had no objection to my having my own meal on his premises. ||We needed to leave very early on the Sunday morning, and I asked whether it would be possible to have breakfast 1/2 an hour earlier than their normal breakfast time. The reply was "it will be ready an hour earlier". So accommodating!||We also needed our rooms 2 hours after the normal check out time, and again, this was not a probl
Convenient for autoroute and Roscoff ferry, this does not look much from outside but is actually set in spacious lawned area. Rooms functional and beds comfortable but short. Nice bathroom with hairdryer. Staff helpful and friendly. We had a very good evening meal for E18 for three very good courses. Would definitely stop off here again.
Rooms are average and small, water flows away from the bathroom while showering 🤨. But bedding is good, outside air is clean and...breakfast 🥰. Well, I am not a big eater, but their jams are deliciouss, better than those I make, and local joghurt, smth that came from heaven.
We had a lovely 5 day stay here. The staff are helpful and very friendly. They speak good English and understand my poor French. I would rate the hotel as 5 but the restaurant was closed on Saturday and Sunday. We had such a great time with our friends when we are at the hotel on Monday when our large party arrived late that the lack of facility on other days was much less important. The room was clean and we loved the hotel resident boxer dog!!
It was my first time in France with my two young boys and needed a room for the night before going on to our Gite. There was a warm welcome when we arrived, the family room was clean and spacious. ||We were booked in for a evening meal and I was very pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food and the guy who waited the bar and the tables was very accommodating with our attempt at the French language and was more than helpful with his knowledge of English.||In short I was pleasantly surprised and having nothing else to compare it to in France would happily stay there again.
Location is really convenient for Roscoff Ferry, we stopped off here for the first & last nights of our recent French trip. Staff are pleasant & speak good English.||||If you have a severe disability, beware the facilities may not be suitable for you. It's not so bad if you are ambulant disabled, but there is not much in the way of safety bars or grab rails. Space is also limited in rooms for wheelchair usage. We raised the bed on 150mm Elephants Feet to get a reasonable height. The bed itself was very comfortable & we slept well in readiness for our busy trips||||Overall the decor looks a little tired & it's time for some TLC to the rooms. All that said our family of 6 travelling would definitely stay here again.||||Restaurant is definitely worth a try.
We had the misfortune of staying a night at the Brit hotel after our ferry was cancelled and it had the only hotel rooms available in the area. The hotel is tired and worn with the rooms being in need of major refurbishment. Some of the lowlights include: peeling wallpaper, dirty and stained carpet, stains on sheets, thin and worn towels, musty/ dirty smell in room. Outside of the room there were exposed wires at a plug socket (we have young children), buckets in the corridor catching rainwater, and some of the room numbers were just printed on pieces of A4 paper attached to the door by blu-tack. I would not recommend staying at this hotel unless you literally have no other options and even then the car might be a better bet. There are 3 stars on the name sign of this hotel... possibly some sort of legacy rating?
