This place is a gem! We stayed for two nights on our bike tour and were blown away by the excellent hospitality and incredible food and wine. The menu, which features both French and Mauritian dishes, is outstanding; both cuisines are a must-try. Don't miss the short climb up the hill to the village—it's well worth the effort. Highly recommend and we can't wait to go back!
Absolutely wonderful experience! We stayed two nights while on a bike trip and we were treated to excellent service and amazing food and wine. Their restaurant features both traditional French cuisine as well as Mauritian cuisine - both delicious!! The village is just a short walk up the hill and is well worth the trek. Would definitely return!
Rose wine was amazing delicious! We are regret to didin’t buy. If you stop or pass from there buy this ! Also fix menu dinner was very tasty too
Our room was nice in general— soft bed and pillows and nicely appointed bathroom. It was nice to have the roomy refrigerator in the room. The room could have been cleaned with more care. The baseboards, window edges and outlets were dirty. We would have ranked this hotel with three stars but our check out was problematic. Even though our original online reservation was for two nights with no breakfasts (for additional charge), the hotel staff stated that we had reserved both days of breakfasts (we did not and showed them documentation showing that). Upon initial arrival, the staff person asked if we wanted breakfast the next morning. We said yes we would go ahead with that. The breakfast itself was terrible— the worst we’ve had in France by far. The food was stale, cold and old. When we checked out of the hotel ,we were charged for two days of breakfasts. The proprietor indicated that they could not possibly be wrong about this. This expensive terrible breakfast was 15 € per person. Even though the setting here is lovely, we would never recommend this place to other travelers.
We enjoyed our stay at this quaint inn with a magical view of Seguret. Run by a charming family, the inn is comfortable and cozy. Enjoyed breakfast and dinner in the hotel as well. There is a lovely walk through the vineyards from the hotel to the town.
We stayed here in June 2025 for two nights. We reserved a “Double Chambre Grand Cru” room in this 3-star hotel. We arrived 30 minutes before our room was ready, so we enjoyed a glass of wine on the gravel terrasse overlooking the swimming pool. It was an extremely peaceful setting.||Our room was a little small, considering we booked the mid-range room category. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. Our room had a mini refrigerator and coffee making supplies. The bathroom had a tub/shower combination. However, there were some cracked tiles and mildew that definitely need to be addressed by the owners and maintenance staff. The shower pressure was extremely low. The window in the shower was painted closed, which kept it from being opened. It would have been nice to open the window during showers to eliminate steam since there was no working exhaust fan in the bathroom. The large south-facing balcony was nice. However, the continual sun in June kept the balcony too hot for us to use. Having an umbrella or canvas canopy would be nice to allow for balcony usage and provide room-cooling benefits.||We had breakfast at the hotel restaurant both days of our stay. There were lots of options, and it was plentiful and delicious. We also chose to eat dinner both nights of our stay. Dinners were delicious also.||There is a nice hike/walk path through the vineyards into the commune of Seguret, which is less than a half mile each way.||All staff members that we encountered were very pleasant and helpful. We enjoyed the peaceful setting of the property and the quaintness of the commune of Seguret. Stay here more for the relaxing and peaceful setting, and less for a high-end accommodation.||Arrival tip: The Waze app provides much more accurate driving directions to the property. We found that Google Maps continually directed us over much longer routes and to use dirt trails through other vineyards (not public roadways) that were not passable with a rent
This is a great place to stay; a short walk from the beautiful Rhone town of Seguret perched on the side of a hill. Although attached to a vineyard it operates separately. It has clean, comfortable rooms but nothing fancy, just value for money. It has a terrace downstairs and a balcony upstairs. The couple that run the hotel are very hospitable and helpful. There is nothing really close by so you probably have to eat there as it would involve a 10 min car trip to get to Sablet nearby. Happily the meal in the restaurant, a menu with choice over three courses, was excellent. It was produced and served by a great Mauritian team. This is a gem and worth considering as a base to explore Seguret, Sablet, Gigondas and more
This place was perfect! Just what we needed after our long drive from Beaune. Peaceful and quiet, we appreciated the warm welcome. Our room was well equipped, comfortable and had an amazing bathroom with a superb shower.|They do lunch and evening meals if you don’t want to go out.|Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. It is so easy to access various domains in the area and also the lovely village of Seguret.|Reasonably priced, it is great value for money. We will return.
