A hidden area with lots of natural surprises, not just pine trees and sand but nature reserves, amazone-like rivers that you can canoe down, natural lakes you can swim in or sail on. One of the best open air museums in France.

What are u talking about, what kind of natural park. It’s just a pine and fir-tree plantation. There is deforestation everywhere. You can see it by the new small trees or freshly cut tree stumps. Huge vehicles are constantly passing by. Moreover, there is a strange chemical smell from time to time while you’re driving , so, probably they use some special biocides etc in order to fumigate insects, like Spain for ex. Not a pleasant journey. Natural park must be a park, not a felling.

Was there to watch a Tour de France stage but was impressed with the number of butterflies and the architecture.

Great green space to have a quick rest and breadth. Unfortunately the wc are not the best ones.

Lovely place to visit walk along the canal . Coffee shops bars aplenty

A huge man-made forest of pine trees, flat as a pancake. A testament to the spirit of 19th century social planning.
