LE PETIT CHATEAU

The most wonderful place you can imagine for your holidays. Beautiful, tasteful, it is a dream come true Le petit chateau. We were a family, kids and adults, we all feel the same…

This summer we stayed for two weeks in the wonderfully spacious family home of Olivier and Cathérine. The first week we had friends visiting, which went quite well due to the number of rooms, bathrooms as well as the enormous space in and around the house and the extensive equipment in the kitchen. We loved the swimming pool, as did the brand-new outdoor kitchen, the bocce court and of course the picturesque view of the hills, the black angus cows and the sweet villlage Vicq-sur-Breuilh. For small groceries, the house is an 8-minute drive from the bakery, butcher, pharmacy and a small supermarket in Magnac-Bourg. For larger shopping there is a larger shopping center with a huge Carrefour a 17-minute drive away in Limoges. The beautiful center of Limoges (known for its porcelain) is only a 20-minute drive away, where we enjoyed visiting the open air market on the Rue des Bancs and the covered market in the Halles. Olivier and Cathérine communicate proactively and provided plenty of tips and suggestions, both for outings and activities (e.g. canoeing, caves, castles), as well as for participating in local activities (village barbecue and an opening of an exhibition). We are looking forward to coming back again in the future! 😊

Wat een geweldige plaats. De eigenaars zijn terecht fier op dit pareltje. Een kasteeltje met geschiedenis en toch alle comfort dat je vandaag nodig hebt. Een mooi zwembad, een fijne buitenkeuken, een knap uitzicht, mooie kamers en verzorgde badkamers ... Wij genoten van een fijne vakantie!

La vie de château...au Petit Château ! Un séjour inoubliable dans un lieu aussi charmant qu'elegant. Nous avons adoré partager de grands repas autour des longues tablées conviviales profiter du vaste salon pour nos soirées ensemble, et dormir dans des chambres à la fois spacieuses,confortables et pleines de caractère. Un mélange entre l'ancien et le moderne est parfaitement équilibré :on y retrouve le cachet du passé avec tout le confort d'aujourd'hui. Un vrai coup de cœur pour ce lieu qui allue authenticité, espace et convivialité. Idéal pour se retrouver en famille ou entre amis ! Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir pour revivre la vie de château...version chaleureuse et partagée
