Liked: Lovely quiet site with large pitches. Very friendly staff. Sadly only stayed one night but if travelling this way again would not hesitate to come back. Disliked: A few barking dogs.

Liked: Friendly family running the site. Big swimming next door (not free though). Huge supermarket next door. Nice sized campsite with a nice mellow/chilled vibe. Lots of toilets and showers which were clean. Nice mix of various nationalities (guests). Some nice beaches not too far away (20-40 minutes). Pitches are in between tress which provided lots of shade. Nice playground area for kids including basketball hoop and table tennis table. Disliked: Had to pay for the pool. Apparently it used to be included with camping but not anymore. No toilet paper or soap provided, so take your own each time.

Great camping site. You can choose your pitch and it's a very relaxed and chilled vibe. The local municipal swimming pool is next door which is about €3 per adult. It's next to the big 'U' supermarket so you can stock up on food for camp. Good location for the coastline beaches. Staff are friendly.

We have often stayed here for a few nights when pottering in France. New owners took over about 3 years ago and they seemed to have listened to comments. The hot water to the showers, my main complaint, took ages to come through - that is now sorted, piping hot water the moment you turn on the showers. Facilities are clean and there have boon other improvements to the sinks. Very peaceful and within easy walking distance of 2 bakers in town and a Super U next door (you wouldn’t know it was there). The fees are considerably less than coastal sites so what not to like?|Please, though, buy a sweeper to pick up the leaves as the site would be even more attractive if the grass was mown and the leaves swept.site in the ACSI discount book

Liked: Good location close to town centre. Decent sized pitches, clean and tidy site, clean toilets and showers - although not enclosed so assume they might be cold in cooler temperatures. Close to very well stocked supermarket. Disliked: Chemical disposal point needs cleaning and updating - not pleasant using this.

Liked: Nothing. This is worst campsite I have ever stayed in. Disliked: If you have a tent do not stay here! There was dog poo on our pitch when we arrived. There was a siren going off all night and all afternoon from the neighbouring carpark, which kept us from sleeping. The sound of motorbikes and traffic from the road next to us also kept us awake. There's no soap or toilet paper, very unhygienic! If you have a campervan it would be okay, avoid if you're tent camping.

Liked: Lovely shaded campsite. Lots of trees. Right next to a massive great super market. Pool next door was huge and had a slide but do need to pay. Toilet blocks and showers washing up area all cleaned regularly and nice enough. Staff were friendly spoke both French and English. Had a little park for ages 2-6 ish . 20 mins to royan and beaches, big wheel, lots of food places on the seafront. And the royan indoor market was great to visit. Disliked: Had to choose your own pitch that were not that clearly marked out which did make it a bit chaotic. Very noisy group one night, pitching tents at 2/3am. Think noise rules should be enforced for a family campsite. People come and go through the night.

Liked: A pleasant place to stay. Good sized pitches, given a choice on arrival. Lovely receptionist who put up with my bad French. Supermarket within walking distance and mobile rotisry van on Mondays. Nice hot w.ater for washing up and showers. Public pool next door. Beaches around Royan about 20km drive. Good quiet spot. No wifi if youre expecting it.
