Ignore low google rating, this place is great! It’s open during the afternoon when many places are closed, the food and wine/beer selections are good, service is friendly and multilingual, and most importantly the food is great. They have a bit broader selection than purely Alsatian food, including pastas and pizza. Try the Neapolitan pizza with melted anchovies and black olives (with pits watch out loll). And the salads which are an excuse to combine delicious greens with toast and melted local cheese lol. Also, music was fantastic. We really enjoyed it!

Went with my mother without reservation on a Saturday night and they welcomed us at a 2-person table without any issues even though the restaurant was packed to the brim. We both had an entrée and a dessert with a glass of wine and sharing a big sparkling water bottle. The bill was exactly 60€ and we added a tip on top. Super friendly and accommodating staff. Amazing food, sympathetic atmosphere and lovely experience overall.

The Food was average. We had a tarte flambée with goat cheese and seafood Spaghetti. It was not bad but the dishes did not have too much taste. The Service was first charming and friendly but when we decided against a dessert it turned rather cool. When we received the money back before leasing a tip, the coins were thrown on the table without saying a single Word. So a mixed, typical tourist experience with rather above average price

At first it was a little difficult to communicate, but when an English-speaking waiter approached us it was fun. He joked a lot and we all laughed. We were allowed in with our dog and sat at tables outside. My husband and I ordered a set lunch for 25 euros. It came with an incredibly delicious half flatbread (like half a pizza) - it was very, very tasty. Then we were served a huge leg of meat, which was difficult to eat, since I had previously ordered snails and was already almost full. The side dish was potato salad in Dijon. (The salad is the only thing I didn’t like, but it’s a matter of taste. For me, it would be better if it were mayonnaise) Thanks to the wonderful waiter who showed me how to eat snails correctly, this was my first time doing this. For dessert there was something that I don't know how to describe, but it was very tasty. My daughter ate ice cream at the beginning of the meal and at the end, and also took a plate of warm toast with different cheeses on it. It was also quite tasty. We liked the food and the wonderful waiter. As far as I remember, he was half Greek. (if I am not mistaken) Thank you, we had a wonderful evening in Colmar.

Definitely would come back. Friendly, polite staff. They brought me a half thin pizza by courtesy when I was waiting my dish. I ordered a traditional dish and it was quite good. Maybe it could be a little more juicy, but it was good. Dessert and coffee were also good.

The food here is good, not exceptional. Just good to eat! The service is 0 stars! The Bald waiter is rude, everyone around us was just unhappy with this guy! The other young boy was nice! The rude one asked us to order more food, even if we already had enough for 2 adults and 2 small kids. Imagine, you have to order a plate for a 3 year old child otherwise get out of here! How stupid this can be? We took the remaining food with us. And for the experience to be full, the waiter didnt't bring our bill, just took his bike and got away (pictured). We are happy he didn't swear when leaving! Just eat at other place!

Very well located but a bit separated from the main squares of Colmar. They accept bookings and it gets full very fast. The restaurant has two floors and it is mainly decorated in wood, creating a traditional and warm atmosphere. They offer a good range of local cuisine plus some other specialties. The pizza was ok and the jambonneau braisé et salde de pomme de terre was delicious. The service was a bit slow but good in general.

We found this place by chance while walking around & had not seen the reviews. I wasn't hungry, so my husband & l wanted to share a main & have a couple of drinks (wine & and coffee). The waitor, a short, rude, bald man, told us no, we needed to order more food than we wanted. I was taken aback that they were forcing us to order more than we wanted & he was rude about it. If l wasn't tired or we hadn't already hadn't started to have our drinks, we would have left. The food was ok, but the service needs improvement. It's such a shame as l thought it was lovely inside and it's in a nice area..
