Beautiful town with timbered houses. Lovely short hike from the historical city centre up the 2 forts. Fabulous view from top. Not suitable for wheelchair or prams.
This trail has a good variety of everything. Bridges, castles, tunnels, cliffs, prairie and the most charming German village I have ever seen. Lots of climbing, though...
Great hike from Monreal to Mayen. Unfortunately are the signs for the 'Jakobsweg ' not clear enough to follow. Nice little town with good restaurants!
The old buildings certainly look good, but unfortunately there are also a lot of post-war buildings that look very out of place.

Mittelschwere Wanderung über gut 13 km mit ein paar knackigen Anstiegen, abwechslungsreichen Wegführungen und ein paar Highlights. Schöne Einkehrmöglichkeit am Schluss im Alten Pfarrhaus. Bei viel Betrieb am Besten zu Beginn der Tour fürs voraussichtliche Ende einen Tisch reservieren.
