SCI LA PASSERELLE

Took the tram (super easy in this city) to check out the Rhine while in Strasbourg. Families were spread out throughout the park enjoying themselves. We walked across the bridge to Germany and back, enjoyed a sorbet while enjoying the weather and took a tram back.

It was a bit of a walk to get there, but totally worth it, the views are spectacular specially we went there in a day which the sky was beautiful and sunny one one side and and grey on the other side creating a beautiful scenario. Also it was cool to be able to go from France to Germany just crossing it!! 😊👍🏻

It's a really peaceful park, on the German side it's much more tranquil while on the French side there's more movement, more people and more attractions, I'd say. There's an establishment that's only there during the summer months where they hold a dance class each day, you can pop in and try one. There are also places to barbecue, a carousel and lots of folks with dogs and such.

This is a fine bridge. Built to Stan the test of times. I would recommend you walk across it, for it is a good bridge. One that has many characteristics and things that make it unique. Cross that bridge from France to Germany and your life will be complete.

Quaint little town... We stopped here during our Viking Rhine River Cruise for a tour of Strasbourg, and also the same time the soccer final was happening between France and Croatia. It was fun to watch French celebrate the game. Lots of people were crossing the bridge that day.

Beautiful bridge! I thought the frontier between France and Germany was right in the middle but it is not! The is a little plate that shows the official frontier and you can stand in two countries at the same time!
