We got lucky as the museum curator was holding a viewing for a large group of people so were able to get a great introduction to the museum and Pierre Jeanneret's work from her! It's a very well curated museum with a lot of text so walking along the rooms feels like a story unfolding with some great photographs from the times of chandigarhs construction. Its a three room museum on the ground floor of Pierre Jeanneret's erstwhile residence where we later found out even Le Corbusier had stayed. The upper floors have rooms which you can book, but we only visited the museum below. Make sure you walk to the rear side of the building too!

We stayed here for 3 nights and it was perfect. The rooms aren't fancy, but to sleep in a room where Jeanneret or Corbusier stayed is *so* worth it. They serve delicious paranthas and curd in the morning, and everyone was so nice. It's also in a very beautiful neighborhood, and is walkable to the lake in 5 or 10 minutes. I would/will absolutely stay here again on my next visit. Thanks for everything!

Stayed there 2 nights. They really missed the ball. They have this incredible building, that they don’t treat very well for people staying. They could spend like 10000 rupees and get some towels, bedding, some shampoo, and a rug and make the place much nicer and more cozy. But instead it is like camping. They make something amazing into something that is okay at best. Typical of how they treat all the modernist things here. The person checking in had to take out passports 3 times, and photograph us, 3 different times, surely you can do it once , I suspect it’s just badly managed place. We cut our stay one night. I think they also won’t understand the review. The building is 10/10, and furniture is good but rundown. The hot water didn’t work. There was no toilet paper in the room. It would be better if they charged more and offered at least toilet paper. What ever happened to modernism.

Had a very peaceful experience here, far away from the chaos of Chandigarh’s traffic, the place offers calm, love and warmth…… One can also book their stay here in the rooms on the first floor, subject to availability.

A must visit for people who come to explore Chandigarh. Visitors get a glimpse of early days of planning and establishing of an altogether new city, first of its kind in the Independent India. Pierre devoted many valuable years of his architectural acumen and vision to carve out a world class modern city. He stayed here for years and the same was converted to a Museum in his honour. You instantly get a feel of the old world charm the moment you enter this space. It's located very near to Sukhna Lake which is a great tourist attraction of Chandigarh.

Pierre Jeanneret, An unsung contributor in the making of City Beautiful. This museum was his own house and is currently converted into a museum post restoration with initial construction techniques and style.

A decent, clean and subtle museum. A home of a designer turned into a museum. It's nice and peaceful. The staff is also nice. Most of The Times we think that There are no places to explore in Chandigarh. If you check out the website of Chandigarh Tourism you will come across A few hidden places That are unexplored . This is one of those places. This museum is so beautiful and it is made in the memory of the designer you can say who designed the city beautiful. He was the 1 who lived here. This is why they have turned the whole bungalow into the museum in his memory. You can easily check out all his creations at his home. There is also the availability of guest rooms at this museum. It is really very peaceful and a divine experience if you are staying in Chandigarh plus it is budget friendly too. No fee. For staying, Rs 1500-2500. Discounts for architects and designers are applicable.

Thoughtfully designed exhibits in a well maintained building! This was a highlight for us and a must for the architecture and planning enthusiasts visiting Chandigarh. Took us about 30 min, but it a was very interesting 30 min! Also, the rumours that you can stay here are true! We didn’t try it but apparently it’s about 2500r per night (you can see the available rooms in the photos of my review).
