We went on a Monday morning when most of the shops were closed . I was told this bakery is quite popular for using good ingredients and for their sourdough bread . We had cinnamon roll, avacodo toast with eggs and coffee. Honestly I wanted to be impressed but it was extremely average . And for the price definitely not something I would recommend to anyone. The setting of the cafe is cute in an alley. Maybe others have tried things which are more unique but my experience was nothing to take home for .

Best cinnamon bun I had in a long time. Definitely worth the hype and will be back to try more of the baked goods. Everything looked and smelled absolutely divine, and also the matcha was very good. 10/10, a gem in the heart of Nice.

Fournil Zielinska is a bakery and coffee shop in Nice’s historic center. There are a couple of tables outside and a small dining room inside. Everyone must order at the counter so expect to wait in line irrespective if you plan to dine in or take away. I bought two items - a cinnamon roll and a brioche with sliced apples on top - for €11.50. Paying such a price I would have expected more from what I had bought but the flavor and the texture were average. Clearly this bakery has some appeal, however, I unfortunately did not find what it was. Good, not great and not worth the price for the quality. Perhaps you’re lucky and find what the hype is all about.

Very cute French bakery, the smell of fresh bread hits you in the face when you enter and I’m not complaining! The lady that served me was very nice and show what they have on offer and spoke prefect English. I went for the cinnamon roll, it was fresh and delicious! Definitely recommend coming here!

Fresh and friendly. We enjoyed our midday snack with the oeuf a la coque (eggs and soldiers) as well as a summer brioche bun which had fresh tomatoes and salsa. Unsure about the negative reviews as we had a lovely break from the sun in this cute french bakery. Prices are on the steeper side but everything is made to order and bread is incredibly fresh, so well justified! Highly recommend!

Cute shop in a side alley, a lil hidden. Since we came for breakfast, we got served by the owner. Kind n polite, speaks good english, so no worries about the communication. Some people complained about high pricing, compared to other shops, we paid less n the quality was higher. Natural flavors, u can taste the ingredients.

Voted La Meilleur Boulangerie de France by M6 in 2022 for their Nissart bread, Fournil Zielinska specializes in using old wheat or chickpeas to enhance its creations. Specialists for sourdough bread too. A cozy & authentic bakery with a flour dusted open kitchen/oven space, and a joining room with tables & chairs to eat on-site. Perfect spot for breakfast, lunch (original sandwich fillings) or anytime treat! The chocolate brioche Babka was a favorite 😋

If you're looking for charming and authentic, come here. When I think of France coffee shops, I want this place, everytime. Its adorable, the coffee was delicious and the homemade bread and pastries were even better. The owner was very nice and friendly!
