I would never in my life believe that a 3-room apartment in france would lack a wine opener!!! Especially when surrounded with grape vine fields. The security guard smokes weed, not sure if he also sells weed but security is standing outside the pool area and smokes, a bit inappropriate since there are small children and families around. If you book a 3-room house without A/C on the top floor, it will get hot, and that is perhaps a understatement, it will get 35’C, and a lot of mosquitoes, like every morning 5-6 new bites. We brought bikes in hope to be able to cycle away from the resort, that is not possible with kids, the roads leading away from the resort does not have a bike lane and the cars / lorries drive 80-90km/h and does not give you any room on the roads. You need to load the bikes on your car and drive away to be able to safely cycle around. The snack bar is good, decent food and nice people working there. Clean pool. The sunbeds are almost all broken down. The luggage trolleys are also broken down or all occupied by residents, be prepared to carry all of your luggage from the parking space to your house.
We stayed as a family in June 2017 before the European school holidays started and it was quite which we love. The pool area is terrific, as good as I have seen. The staff at the office were extremely good and did all they could do to assist with local information and places to see. Excellent and secure area when you have smaller kids and the easy to maintain sight of children from many of the patio areas. Jacucci was great on the back deck and we had sunshine every day for the two weeks. Visited Montpellier which is a beautiful and spotlessly clean city with a great cafe culture and Domain du Gold is a great location surrounded by several vineyards, an excellent supermarket and several great towns to visit to include Agde, Sete, Meze, Vias and my personal favourite Marsellian. Arrived via Carcassone and no problem travelling to the complex with mainly motorway bar the last 6K. Overall a terrific family holiday resort under new managment in a terrific location in a beautiful and spendid part of France with views to die for - local beach is ten minutes away and there is so much to see and do
We stayed the last two weeks of August. The third week of August being the last main week for the French summer holiday season. The contrast was amazing. Great busy resort that week with lots of families of all nationalities. The pool area is large with a large freeform swimming pool and graduated beach type entry area ideal for smaller children.||We stayed in a three bed semi-detached house which is backs on to a central grassed/lawned area. Great for kids as you can watch them from deck or jacuzzi. There is no traffic as the resort is enclosed and fenced. Guests have to park their cars outside in the allocated parking so very safe.||The second week coincided with the French children returning to school so it was very quiet. It made a great contrast of busy active to quiet and relaxing. If you want a quieter time of it this is a great week as is September since by the looks of it The French are very traditional in when they take their summer break as it was mass exodus from everywhere in the South of France! The weather seems to be holding out as I have been checking for future planning!||The houses are well appointed with TV, Kitchenette, lounge area and two bathrooms, one is ensuite and a separate toilet. Air-con worked well and the jacuzzi was nice to relax in early evening.||There were supermarkets near by in the surrounding villages, all within five minutes drive. However there is an onsite snack bar which does panini, pizzas as well as a restaurant. There is an onsite laundry room which was helpful.||Our three kids enjoyed themselves and the staff were very friendly and helpful even if we were non french speaking!||If you want an alternative to a camp/caravan site but value in a house rather than hotel rooms this is certainly an option. For those who don't need to go in the French holiday season I can see this as a relaxing quiet break within easy reach of Montpellier by car or tram (accessible from the next village of St Jean De Vedas and very cheap) or Sete
Very Nice place to visit, very family friendly and relaxing. The spa and restaurant very nice and well priced. The swimming pool is very big and clean. At night it was very quite apart from the boiler going on and off during the night (although i'm a light sleeper). I would recommend you bring a car because it is in the middle of the country side surrounded in vineyards. I felt safe because their is a fence around the resort although one of the electric gates didn't work and was left open for the whole 2 weeks. The staff where friendly and the apartments where slightly dirty and paint was chipped off the walls and kitchen utensils where also missing, but very nice place and i would recommend for families. P.S there is no evening entertainment.
We stayed here for two weeks and it has the nicest pool of anywhere I've been. Fantastic place for families as so safe and no cars near the houses. Our house very well equipped with the added bonus of a jacuzzi on the deck. Good location for travelling to Sete, Le Grande Motte, Cap D'Agde, Palaves le Flots. Will definitely come back.😊
We had 2 weeks at villa 10A. The site has improved a lot since the owners took over. The pool area is lovely, the service at reception is very good and the bar- and main restaurant serves a variety of nice food at affordable prices. We will return next summer!
The resort is very family orientated. The house was very clean and had amenities any family would require. Swimming pool perfect for children and adults. just a short trip from Montpelier and many interesting villages and superb beaches. ||Would highly recommend location for couples for a quiet break or families for a safe, clean and family orientated resort.
A good place for some sports or for self-catering. There is a good spa alongside. Easy parking. Friendly and helpful staff (who are happy to practice their English!). Main down side is that some nights it could be a bit noisy; a combination of youngsters having fun and some long stay families perhaps under stress.
