The pros are the nice pool with sunbathing area, the lagoon, although we didn’t use it looked lovely, level pitches and an enclosure for dog exercise. (Although we had to pick up other people dog mess!) the recycling area was clean and well managed along with the gardens and the staff are friendly. |Areas which need improvement are the bar area, could do with some more comfortable seating, overgrown pitches with trees, toilet and shower facilities need to be brought into the 21st century and the entrance to the toilets is dangerous. Washing machine area was disappointing with only one machine out of two working and a tumble dryer, not a lot for such a large site. |We ordered a pizza on the first night from the bar who specialise in pizzas, which was chorizo, unfortunately it wasn’t very hot and contained 5 pieces of chorizo and 4 olives we took it back to the van to heat it up in the oven.|We left earlier due to unhelpfulness of the manager to find us a suitable pitch also at 1.30 and 3.00 every morning there was an alarm which went off for around 2 minutes which was very annoying.

We had an excellent weekend at the Camping Le Botanic in May 2026. We were there, a family of 4, with a camping car. The camping is quite busy: it is highly suggested to make a reservation in advance. The facilities are very good. The personnel is very professional. The prices are reasonable.

They emailed us on our road trip if we were coming. We were stuck in traffic and they kept it open which is exceptional! The pitches are well maintained and private, the location is perfect and the lavatories are well maintained. Didn't visit the mini lake but it looked great and they even had kids riding donkeys! Would 10/10 visit again.

We stopped at this campsite 5 days ago. Service was very good and so the spaces. Even so, that now on our return back home we booked a pitch again for tomorrow evening.

Gate closed before 22h. Gate does not always work correctly. Toilets closed at 13h. without alternative. Cranes do not properly work. No light to shave in cabins. Rats walking on the fence of the bar where you pay Michelin 3 star prices. Rats opening garbit bags on campsite.

The heated pool and the lake are superb. The spots for tents are very good and the staff is great. The breakfast was okay, but we got the pizza night and it was wonderful. The bathrooms are open however so if it's cold the shower might be a little chilly. There is no toilet paper or hair dryer but the ponies, goat and Guinea pigs make up for it.

When it comes to the pitches, this is probably the best camping we've ever been on with our campervan. Nice big trees, you really feel as if you're in the woods. The receptionist is one of the kindest guys we've ever met and helps you out with anything. The natural lagoon is also an awesome addition to the camping, beautiful! The only thing is the facilities which lack a little bit. Toilets and showers are back to back and the drainage is a bit weird. All by all, great place to stay!

We stayed in Camping Le Botanic for 2 nights in Aug, as part of our 18 night, 12 campsite tour of France.||||This was one of my 13 year old daughters and wife's favourite stops. This was largely due to the onsite lagoon and beach area with the addition of a small pool. Both areas were excellent locations for relaxing. The while site was clean and the facilities were very good - if a little low in number for the size of the site in my opinion.||||The bar area was very nice and well stocked with cocktail options. Sadly out stay was impacted by an epic storm on one of our nights, preventing extra chill out time at the bar. ||||The pitch itself was of good size amongst the trees, although this did impact the flatness, with exposed tree routes. The addition of a table tennis table and boules areas were also popular, and resulted in good fun evening family entertainment
