I really wish that I could rate them 5 stars like most of the reviews because they do deserve it largely. My review is rated 3 stars purely for our experience at the Spa and the service at breakfast. We had made Spa bookings when we checked in for the next day. We arranged our day around those bookings and when we showed up for Spa, we were told that there were no bookings made. Moreover, the person at the Spa Desk was very rude and completely unprofessional - not expected at 5 star hotel. She refused to take ownership and blamed it on another associate who was on duty the previous day. One other thing was the service at breakfast was extremely slow. Had to call the server few times reminding about our orders. Having said that, the hotel is exceptional and the rooms are gorgeous with views of the citadelle in distance and nice patio sit out. It is a cottage like setting with great setup. The location is bit away from city center but they run an on demand car service which will drop you and pick up from Marina as needed until midnight - which is great. The front office, housekeeping and all other (other than spa) staff is exceptional and very friendly. We had an excellent experience at the bar and restaurant during dinner time. Overall, I do recommend this place if they can fix the spa booking issues and the breakfast service. Just a quick note, the hotel is a bit hard to find using google maps - especially if you driving from Calvi/Figari. Would suggest navigating to Marina first and then to the hotel.

The hotel is beautifully situated with a lovely view of Bonifacio. The grounds were very clean and nicely laid out. The staff were very friendly and fulfilled all our requests.

We booked for 3 nights based on a friends recommendation. Having visited the superb citadelle of Bonifacio we agree that the Maquis is the best option for a comfortable stay close to Bonifacio, the in town options looked very down at heel. The accommodation is in satellite units around the dining room & swimming pool, they were very private & well appointed but felt a little remote. The staff were very pleasant & helpful, the heated pool was nice & there was a spa which we didn’t use. The restaurant menu was based heavily on Italian cuisine & whilst the dishes we chose were generally good we were a little disappointed that it didn’t change during our stay. The outstanding feature of the hotel is the view back towards Bonifacio especially as the sun sets. On balance we would rate it as a good 4 star aspiring to be 5 star.

We spent 4 nights here and welcomed the retreat of the hotel after the bustling citadel of Bonifacio. The on demand transfer in and out meant we never worried about parking given the town is too far to walk to and the staff could not have been nicer in jumping up to drive us frequently in and out. Our room overlooked the citadel and whilst it was gorgeous we felt any room would be wonderful. We did not use the spa feeling the pool offered all we needed including drinks and a pool food menu. The sunsets in the evening from the restaurant were something else and we highly recommend the hotel for service, style, ambience and location.

We stayed at one of the villas and everything about our experience was perfect. We hope to return some day!

I recently spent five days at this hotel and was thoroughly delighted with every aspect of my stay. I arrived feeling tired and stressed, but left feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. The attention to detail here is truly exceptional, starting with breakfast. The morning spread is sumptuous and varied, catering to every lifestyle and preference. Great coffees and teas. The pool area and outdoor spaces are stunning and immaculately maintained. There’s no need to rush to reserve sunbeds—there are always plenty available, and the quality of the furniture is excellent. The gym is well-equipped and highly functional, perfect for keeping up with your fitness routine. My room was well appointed and extremely comfortable. I especially appreciated the high-quality bedding and luxurious toiletries. Housekeeping does a stellar job, maintaining everything to the highest standard. As a light sleeper, I was impressed by how quiet the room was—no noise from outside or neighboring rooms. Beyond breakfast, I enjoyed lunch both in the main restaurant and by the pool, as well as dinner at their Italian restaurant. The food was consistently outstanding. The complimentary shuttle service to Bonifacio is a fantastic bonus. The staff are always ready to drop you off and pick you up at your convenience. Most importantly, the service provided by the staff is truly five-star. They go above and beyond to make you feel pampered and genuinely welcome. I visit South Corsica two to three times a year, and this is by far the best hotel I have experienced in the region. Highly recommended!

An absolutely magical stay in Bonifacio! The hotel is beautiful, and located just minutes from the Citadelle, but set in lush green gardens. The staff are lovely, the setting is peaceful and we loved our stay. Things I would want to know: - The place is stunning and serene. It’s very new and beautifully maintained. The view of the town is just stunning, and the pool area is really magical. There’s gorgeous decked routes that lead through the gardens to the rooms, so special. - It’s small! Genuinely a boutique hotel, whilst at the same time, it’s properly 5 star. - You can’t really walk to Bonifacio, but the hotel will drop you off and pick you up in a Range Rover, whenever you want it! We would just WhatsApp the hotel, and 5 minutes later the car would arrive. This really was an amazingly easy service to use. - Breakfast isn’t included, and is EUR35 per head - for this you get two hot drinks, a buffet breakfast and eggs cooked to order. The setting is stunning, and the food was really high quality. - Dinner - don’t forget to reserve for dinner. The restaurant is busy (lots of non-hotel guests visit, as it’s beautiful!) and rightly so. The food is Italian, modern and generous portions. Definitely recommend. - Our room was almost like a cabana - it was single story, totally quiet (in the middle of gardens, with no road noise at all). The bathrooms are ‘open plan’ - which I don’t love (not even a curtain separates from the bedroom) but, the rooms are spacious and well laid out, and ours came with an incredible view of Bonifacio. - The spa is absolutely beautiful! The website doesn’t reflect how stunning it is. Don’t miss out on visiting it. - There’s tortoises that roam the grounds! Most easily seen the morning and late afternoon. One crossed our path and we saw another eating its lunch in the gardens. So all in all, just an amazing stay. Prices were fair (EUR600 in high season) for a genuinely boutique, yet five star, experience in a stunning lo

Great hotel facilities, but service was mixed. The decor is stylish and comfortable, and the spa area is excellent, featuring a nice pool and several saunas. We didn’t try any treatments, but it looked well-equipped. Food quality was decent, but portion sizes were inconsistent, some dishes were surprisingly small, others overly generous, making it tricky to order the right amount. Service was the main letdown. While some restaurant staff, especially Lou and Margaux, were outstanding, one male server struggled with English and could benefit from additional training. When we tried to ask questions about the premium wine we’d ordered, he seemed uncomfortable and remained silent, which was unexpected at a five-star property. The hotel provides a complimentary car service, which is a nice touch, but it was often difficult to contact them, multiple methods available, yet none reliably worked. Overall, the hotel has lots of potential if the service issues can be ironed out.
