I have had such a wonderful time with my dog Heka for the past week since adopting her from this shelter. The all volunteer staff was patient and diligent--I'm even looking into volunteering there--not only to practice French with other volunteers but also to hang with the dogs who really value human touch and connection. Though Heka did have an issue keeping the bandage they provided for two full weeks (it lasted about 5 days and I got a cone instead at the vet). They're really trying, though! And they're dealing with many animals and adoptions with the utmost care. I look forward to providing a forever home for my loving pup. Thanks, Spa Gennevilliers!

we had the best adoption experience ! the staff were careful and kind (with us and the animals) and we were sure nothing was going to slip by them (unfit adoptions, unrealistic expectations). we have a wonderful rescue dog - a 7 year old lab/greyhound/staff mix (almost 1 year of adoption now) and they followed up in a smart way. furthermore, we happened to be there when someone dumped their dog unceremoniously in a giant cage at the front of the SPA, and the staff flew into action, handling a totally horrible scene with total professionalism (and passion for the animal). really happy to support them and the important work they do.

Best place to choose your pet for adoption. They provide the best care for the animals. I visited this place with a school trip, the class students of my daughter were very excited to discover. I believe we collected valuable information and learned about the habits of hamsters, rabbits, dogs and cats. Thank you again :)

A wonderful group of employees and volunteers! I went through the adoption process for a dog, Veni. The employees are well organized and were very helpful in making sure that out of the dogs we were interested in, that we chose a dog that will fit the best for us. They really spend the time to answer any and all questions as well as give time between dogs and potential adopters. They know the dogs really well and give honest feedback and are very transparent. The process is a bit long though so if you are planning to adopt, please don't think you can just walk in and out in an hour with your forever pet! It will take a few hours, especially on a busy day, but rest assured- everyone at this refuge is working very hard to make sure they find the best families! 5 stars for this hardworking crew and awesome dogs!

The staff was super helpful with the adoption process and referring a dog to us that fits our personalities and lifestyle. They were also very kind and knowledgeable about each dog's personalities and quirks. Since it is mainly run by volunteers, patience, understanding, and kindness is key to having a good experience here. The staff is pretty busy but will help as soon as they can.

One month ago I wanted to adopt a cat. A friend of mine suggested to go to the SPA. For the first time I was afraid as I don't have the experience with the animals but the people there are so friendly and so noce, they are explaining everything regarding the animals ( food, sickness ...) Now I have a cat thanks to them. This cat is really changing my life. I lost my mum 7 months ago, separated since 2 months so I am living a very hard moments, sometimes I feel so depressed but since I have this cat in my life, I feel much better. At least, a pure heart is welcoming me every day when I come home after a long day at work. Thanks again to the SPA for the great effort.

We wanted to see a cat but the staff did not even let us see it although they had told us we could. We unfortunately had to go back home without seeing any animals. 4 hours trip for nothing although we had an email trlling us we could meet the animal.

Very friendly staff, they kindly helped us with the forms that were only in French. The place was very crowded when we were there, and not many cats left unfortunately.
