Lovely restaurant. Scorching hot Friday evening, so a nice shaded spot with a cooling breeze, great to sit outside. Arrived just after 7pm opening so seating no problem but gradually got busier. Had light meals but looked enviously at the wonderful looking cassoulet being served to nearby patrons. Very reasonably priced too.
If you’re in Carcassonne and vegan I would definitely recommend the vegan options here. They do serve other stuff too but the vegan gazpacho, cassoulet and crumble were delicious. Friendly staff, good music, can sit inside or out. Note evening meals don’t start till 7pm
Came here based on Happy Cow listing. Waitstaff excellent, knew vegan selections well, super friendly. Had the veggie crudites, shared a vegan cassolette, and a berry crumble with sorbet. All were fantastic! I think that the cassolette was a little dry for my taste, and could have used a little more spices (rosemary, herbes, pepper?), but who am I to judge.
Unfortunately a terrible experience. Service lacking, food did not come at the same time, gluggy cassoulet. No other diners - should have been a clue.
Fantastic restaurant. Very friendly. We went for breakfast but there were only drinks and food will only be served after 12. We had cups of hot chocolate. The waitress talked nicely and patiently with kids in French. Other people who had coffee there also made greeting with kids, it has an atmosphere of neighborhood . We then decided to come back for lunch later. The food is really nice cooked, very delicate flavors. Just need to be very patient, it took us about 2 hours for lunch.
I have never been to Carcassonne, France and so I checked out available options and found this gem. The menu was clearly marked with vegan options, the service was absolutely phenomenal, and the food was beyond words. I went for dinner and it was so good. I went for lunch the next day to try something else. Both were spectacular.
Bang average food. Asked for the small tartare as a starter and they refused - asked for mac and cheese and got chips - the prawns are fried with all the flavour on the shells which meant that by the time I had de shelled them there was no flavour on the actual prawns. A lot of work for a very minimal reward (4x prawns). Wine was nice.
Had a lovely meal here, the plat du jour. The menu has a good selection, and the other meals coming out also looked nice. If also good value. They also have good beer on draft, the staff are polite and efficient. Recommended.
