Why we didn't see this place when we were looking for accommodation on our way to Spain, rather on the way back, is a mystery to me. Quite simply, it is FABULOUS.||From the moment we saw it on the internet to when we left this morning, after breakfast, we were totally taken aback by the splendour and attention to detail carried out during the renovation. Richard and Nathaly were the perfect hosts but the real showstopper was the Chateau. We would go so far as to say it is comparable with the Paradors in Spain, a number of which we have stayed in many times. If you've ever stayed in one, you will know how highly we rate this Chateau. ||Our stay was all we wanted it to be and we will certainly be back when our travels allow.
We recently stayed at this stunning Chateau as a family with our 4 year old daughter for a summer break. The accommodation is out of this world and the most friendliest of welcomes given by its owner Richie. He couldn’t have done more to make each guest welcome and feel at home in his wonderful abode. The rooms were spacious and spotless and the breakfasts were delicious and plentiful. Having undergone recent renovations in the pool area- many hours were spent in and around the pool which is the perfect spot for relaxation. We can’t wait to come back next year on our motorbikes and explore the area. This place really is a slice of heaven- made even better by the hospitality given by its owner. Would give 11/10 if we could.
The Chateau Roquehort is a great place to chillout. Rooms are very comfortable with an amazing decoration! Nikki and Richard are exceptional hosts with a real sense of hospitality. You immediately feel at home. On top of this, foods (breakfast and dinner) are delicious and spectacular! Nikki is a great Chef and ready to surprise you! We spent a week with a group of riders at the chateau. Many places to visit around with stunning landscapes when riding to the Pyrenees mountains! Unfortunately the weather was not on our side but nevertheless we could appreciate the ambiance and the conviviality released by the Chateau Roquehort and its hosts! We will come back with the family for sure ! Thank you Nikki & Richard for your warm welcome, and thank you John for being the motorcycle tour guide! Great experience of riding! Soryma C.
Fantastic place with lots to do. Was very clean and tidy. Food was amazing and catered for allergies/special dietary requirements. Lovely home made cooking presented to high standards. Rooms were very spacious. Shower was lovely and hot. Hosts were so accommodating. The rides out were fantastic and catered for allergies riders. Would highly recommend and we will be returning for further adventures. Well done to all that made our stay a memorable one.
Absolutely stunning B & B that I would highly recommend. A magnificent chateau with beautiful rooms, comfortable beds and lots of space. The public areas are both stately and homely both inside and out. The icing on the cake is the food! Nikki Siciliano and Rich Hurley, the hosts, couldn’t be more helpful and obliging. Nikki is a chef and her food delectable.
Spent a wonderful week hosted by our friends Richie and Nikki at Chateau Roquehort. Accommodation was amazing with fantastic facilities and delicious catering in a beautiful setting. It's truly inspiring to see how Richie and Nikki have worked so hard to fill this lovely building with their passions and personalities, and the attention to detail given to the way the Chateau has been renovated and equipped is nothing short of incredible. A 'must do' venue for anyone on 2 wheels, be it motorbikes or bicycles. And we got to see the Tour de France too 😁😎
I recently had the pleasure of staying for one night at Chateau Roquehort, a beautiful haven run by Nikki and Rich, who have moved from the UK to the stunning Pyrenees region. As a biker, I had initially ridden my bike to the area in preparation for a longer stay. This time, however, I was driving down with my son. Despite the brief stay, the experience was nothing short of spectacular. Introduced to Nikki and Rich by a mutual biker friend, I had been in touch with them for a couple of months before my visit. Their warm and welcoming nature was evident even before we arrived. Upon reaching Chateau Roquehort, the check-in process was seamless. Despite facing a challenge to get back in time, Nikki and Rich made impeccable arrangements to let us in using technology and maintained constant communication. Meeting them later in the evening felt more like a reunion with old friends rather than a first-time encounter. Nikki and Rich invited my son and me to join them for soft drinks, wine, and a delightful spread of charcuterie. Their hospitality was beyond welcoming – it genuinely felt as if we were part of their family. The camaraderie and warmth we experienced were remarkable, a testament to the shared bond within the biking community. What Nikki and Rich have accomplished with Chateau Roquehort is truly inspiring. They have turned their dream of owning a chateau and creating a welcoming space for all – including bikers – into a reality. The atmosphere they have cultivated is one of genuine kindness and friendship. Our stay at Chateau Roquehort was an unforgettable experience for both me and my 16-year-old son. It’s a place where you’re not just a guest, but a part of something special. I wholeheartedly recommend Chateau Roquehort to anyone seeking a unique and heartwarming retreat. Whether you're a biker or not, Nikki and Rich’s chateau is a place where you’ll feel right at home.
I absolutely love this place, the location is great, the hosts are absolutely wonderful! I recommend staying here! 5 Stars from me!
