Impressive space, very authentic. There are a lot of things to explore, also you can have a barbecue or do some sport activities. There is a scene for concerts there, and i am sure the acoustic should splendid. We just crossed the area quite fast, but i can easily imagine spending few hours chilling and enjoying here.
The carrière is quietly dramatic with its large-scale earth-works, but also wonderfully peaceful . . Well worth a visit to soak up the sun and relax whilst contemplating the workers and the era that produced it.
A french curiosity. Former limestone quarry preserved as sculpture park and performance space.
A lovely place to visit to see how work was achieved in the past.
