Modern life offers almost nothing. Against this backdrop, finding a place where you can sit with a decent homemade meal and listen to music that hasn't been algorithmically optimized for the attention span of a depressed fourteen-year-old feels like a small act of resistance. La Marbrerie is a converted industrial space — high ceilings, air that circulates, something vaguely post-reunification Berlin about it, except warmer, more human. There's a restaurant-bar elevated to the right of the stage where someone has actually cooked, which is becoming, year after year, a rarer and more radical act. The sound is precise, not punishing. The indie programming shows a curatorial intelligence that refuses to capitulate. Rents or regulations will probably crush this place eventually. But for now, it holds.

I love this place ! The line up is Brilliant with many events around other cultures : italian ball, moroccan rap nights and many other genres. Coolest place !

Scam! They advertise their concert on sites like lylo.fr as free but you have to buy a ticket to get in when you are there! This is false advertising and illegal!! I wonder what other scams are going on inside!! Super dodgy, avoid at all cost!!

Super cool venue (it's a former marble cutting and engraving workshop, having served the big cemetery nearby...) with a wide range of acts throughout the week. They serve food cafeteria-style, drink prices are reasonable. There is an indoor smoking lounge that is super grunge (in a good way, if that's what you're looking for).

Great place to listen to live music and party/dance. All concrete decor, stage for musicians, sound quality is good too. 12€ for a home made simple dish 3,50€ the cheapest beer Very hot in the best evenings if you're dancing a lot :p
