Exceptional. Worth every meter of this steep road to the garden. Owner is really informative and even though we didn't speak Franch he made it understandable and interesting. Don't think - go!

Le Jardin de la Montagne chez Babo (Mountain garden by Babo) is one of the most beautiful places in Martinique. It's hidden in the beautiful mountains in height about 400 m above the sea. When you have a small car like we had, be careful, the road will be a bit difficult for you. We stopped under the Coq road and made short walk to the garden. The nature around is simply amazing! True paradise. Monsieur Babo is very passionate about his flowers and fruits. He or his co-workers will give you a guided tour around. It's in French but we could understand some names and usages of the plants. They have many plants that we have seen before but also many that were new for us and that are typical for this part of the world. You just have to visit this beautiful place, just amazing! (Fee is 5 eur.)

A wonderful and magic place ! The guide could tell many hours about the plants of Martinique, we were fascinated ! And the prize is very fair ! You must visit it !!

It's a perfect little spot to visit - the guide was super nice and explained about the Flora and Fauna on the island. The garden itself is wonderfully well kept and it's wondrous to wander through it. It's a bit hard to reach by car but that should not keep you!

Spectacular. Has bridges in the treetops. Paths are well maintained.

Amazing visit !! Don't get discouraged by the steep and twisty access road, the visit is absolutely worth it ! The owners are passionate and you'll get to see plenty of mountain plants and flowers, the visit was enchanting ☺️
