Pleasant experience overall. Location is a bit off center of Aix, which wasn’t an issue as we were driving. We booked a wrong room and Siri from the front desk really went out of her way to solve that for us! The toilet had a weird odour. There was a nice restaurant and bar which had a good selection of food and also a games section where you can play pinball, arcade and pool

Great Hotel. We stayed for 3 nights as a family. Room is spacious and the pool area is great - also lots of games indoors and outside. Staff is friendly and breakfast is great. We especially loved their Nutella machine! Small downside - the fridge in the room doesn't get really cold enough.

Mixed feelings about hotel birdy, overall the pool is quite nice and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The soaps (Nuxe) provided are amazing quality and the hotel is nicely decorated. This place is decent for a one night stay! I would like to point out that the hotel staff/service are super helpful and kind and made the hotel experience very nice and comforting. Especially the day time service, one lady at the night time service was not as helpful, but everybody else was great. My biggest points of complaints go to management, not service: - Someone at 8 am was drilling and hammering work upstairs above the rooms which is unacceptable on a saturday morning. (It was apparently an emergency but morning construction should still be avoided for future guests) - My pillow had a small stain - We booked the VIP experience, but it would have been better with more alcoholic beverages included as we only received one each. - Some of the displayed times are misleading. Example: the elevator poster says 8:30 pool closure when the hotel says 8.

Stayed here for one night as a stopover en route to the Cote D’Azur. We had a family room and a double room.|It is very functional. Rooms are pretty basic. Toilets and bathrooms are windowless and feel a bit oppressive. Furnishings are not luxurious but cushions and decor are a fairly nice touch. Rooms seemed pretty clean, mini fridge (empty) in room which is useful. |Corridors are boiling hot and doors and door handles seem sticky - could do with a clean. Air con in the rooms was effective. |We did not eat here but Breakfast is 17 euros per person if booked at the hotel (cheaper if booked in advance). Outside area looked pretty decent. Pool also a welcome bonus. Reception staff pretty friendly. Manager very friendly chatting to us when we were leaving. |Overall, it was decent value for what we paid well in advance. It is functional but can not imagine staying for more than a couple of nights.

I spent a weekend at Hôtel Birdy by HappyCulture, and it was such a nice getaway! The hotel has a cool, modern vibe with a bit of a tropical twist. The staff were super friendly and made me feel welcome right away. The room I stayed in was spacious and really comfy, with a lovely balcony where I could just chill and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. It was the perfect spot for a quiet morning coffee. The restaurant was a real treat too. The food was fresh and delicious, and there were plenty of options to choose from. The relaxed and cozy atmosphere of the restaurant made it even better. I would love to return there in the summer, they have a pool you can lounge by, if you’re looking for a place to unwind. I’d definitely recommend Hôtel Birdy.

Stayed here two nights in the off-season. Stay would have been better if the beds were a bit comfier, and if the night staff I spoke with at reception would have been more helpful (specifically, one fellow with painted fingernails. Simply put, he was rude.) The room was warm, but we were able to open the window and let the outside air in at night. Walls are thin, and neighboring rooms can be heard. The pillows could have been better, and the mattresses were kind of stiff. The halls have motion sensor lights to save energy. They are kind of weird to walk in before the lights kick on. It feels gloomy. Breakfast was good. The scrambled eggs are probably made from a powder/bag, but everything else was reasonably good. It's a good-sized spread. For the full price, you can possibly get better food somewhere else, but it is convenient. We got it slightly discounted, and it was worth it for us not to have to think about where to go for breakfast elsewhere. They have a water dispenser with normal and sparkling water. They could be more prompt about cleaning the dishes near this station. There were lots of little gnats flying around this area the night we arrived. It was kind of gross. The hotel has a lot of potential, but during my stay, it was just ok. I did not sleep very well here, but I did have a place to sleep, and that was good. Until the hotel gets in better shape, it should be seen as a value stay.

A beautiful hotel with an amazing view of the golf course. The room is spacious and clean. Love the environmentally friendly concept of the hotel. The location is a bit off from the center but if you have a car this should not be an issue as it is only 15 mins away.

Room was very nice, but it had a tub shower that was not easy to get in and out of. Location was good, but if you want to spend time in Aix, it would be better to stay in Aix. However, Birdy has plenty of free parking, and hotels in Aix may not have either. Hotel staff was very nice and helpful.
