Make yourself At ‘ome in this convenient central climbing wall a short walk from the festivities of Annecy old town centre, complete with an adjustable angle kilterboard, cafe, and warm-welcoming informative staff. Physically, the design has an honest majesty to it. Exposed brick, timber, and steel give the place a raw dignity, while the coloured holds dotting the walls provide regal flair. There are no weights (meaning fingerboarding for advanced climbers is difficult) or gym area and there is no circuit board. 🚨Liquid chalk is mandatory🚨 (though I understand this is common in France so I willn’t detract stars for it). Tbh liquid chalk is just gross, and not that effective. But I do see it’s merits for staff and cleaners alike. Overall a Great Wall with lovely staff, and while I didn’t use the cafe it looked great, but I cannot give the centre more than four stars due to the lack of training equipment inevitable due to its size as a result of being in a shopping centre. I’ll add that it was expensive, at €14 for a standard entry- but I think this is becoming the way with most walls and subscription-based focus.
This may be the best climbing gym in the whole Haute-Savoie area… having tried most of them, I can confirm that for the price (which is still cheaper than others) you get the most things out of a session: brilliant setting for some super fun climbing, heating that actually works, clean spaces, great shower and an amazing sauna. And this is all apart from the restaurant and the bar which both serve very good food and coffee, and the vibes of the people which are less closed minded than the rest of the region. If you want to spend a great day inside in Annecy, this is the spot. Merci la team 🙏
Love the place and the laid-back atmosphere. The walls are rotating regularly, the staff is super friendly and cool. The even have a bar/restaurant just besides (Pebble), perfect for a little post-effort reward!
Friendly staff and English friendly location. Iced late was great.
middle size bouldering gym with a high variety of routes. friendly personell makes a visit easy and perfect for an afternoon session
Too expensive for what it is. A small climbing gym inside a mall, with smell of burgers and a practically non-existing warm-up dedicated area. Showers have no ventilation and are not clean. Same for toilets.
Nice boulder gym great both for climbing and for eating there, or just to get some work done in the “cafeteria” area. I just wished the sauna was working.
Very cool routesetting here, good training area with a fully adjustable kilter board. Dynamic and powerful setting so if you like that then you'll like this gym. No powdered chalk which is unfortunate, holds are more slippery as a result
