Highest recommendation for château bellecroix. ||Warm welcome by reception and offering help with our bags to our room. A really nice room with everything needed and a big bathroom. Very fresh breakfast with best and biggest croissants we’re had in our trip in France. ||The surroundings are a beautiful park and nicely held. The pool is perfect also to relax by - you have sun chairs in the cooling park and shadows by the big trees. ||The service is absolutely top and all are very helpful and serviceminded. The owner is all the time checking if everything is ok and if we needed something and was very helpful recommending and reserving restaurants and recommended ding great wine places. ||You can have coffee/tea/wine in the garden area until 7:30pm but also just stay and enjoy a bottle you bought during the day. ||It’s a great place to stay and have small trips around the area with great wineries and gourmet restaurants. ||I really don’t understand why so many have had bad experiences here. Maybe because of own attitude - I don’t know. My experience was more than full filled and you get good value for the price of your stay. ||We stayed for 3 nights and we will come back.

A beautiful hotel in a classic Castle configuration. Nicely located next to probably the most renowned vineyards in France. Nice breakfast with a good selection of products A pool where it's nice to take a dip in especially in those hot summer days.

This was our second stay at Bellecroix and we were very happy with our stay. The rooms are all very nice and the facility is lovely. A classic French Chateau. Our suite was quite large with a modern bathroom. The continental breakfast was served to the table which is nice. Very quaint with not a lot of extra services. Very close to many excellent vineyards.

It's literally a castle. It looks like a real old castle that has been renovated and turned into a hotel, but the building, the furniture, and the atmosphere are at least a hundred years old. Totally my style. However, the hotel itself does not offer any entertainment other than healing to enjoy nature and the castle. + The hotel offers Wi-Fi service, but it's almost useless because the signal is blocked by the stone walls of the building. Note to self.

This medieval castle is a former Templar residence in Burgundy - Côte d'Or. Close to the notorious wineyards of Rully, Montrachet and Santenay. Despite its respectable age this hotel offers all modern comfort including wifi, AC and a nice outdoor pool. Drinks and food are good quality and at reasonable prices. Staff are friendly and helpful. We will defenitly be back

My girlfriend, dog and I visited the charming chateau in the summer of 2021. The pool was under maintenance so without even asking they upgraded our room to the suite. Unfortunately, my girlfriend was ill the first few days, but the personnel was very accommodating and helpful. ||Our dog also loved the stay. A big yard to run and play in and a forest close by. ||The city of Chagny was very cozy and, again, the staff was very helpful when deciding where to eat. ||All-in-all, we loved our little getaway in the Château de Bellecroix.

The place was very old, had a bad vibe. We were given a room which had a bad smell, the bath tube was dirty (probably blood stains that couldn't go away - god knows when that happend). As we arrived late and had to do self checkin, we asked to change room immediately after seeing this. The day after, at checkout, we were blamed for having done that to the bath tube this while the room was as such when we arrived and actually was the reason why we asked to change room. We were almost yelled at by the owner and the cleaning lady. Later during the day, we heard by some neighbors that the owners were struggling financially as the place requires lots of renovation. It is terrible to see how bad people can behave trying to blame customers by giving then a bad room when the reception is closed, just to blame then in order to try to get money from their clients the day after. Funny enough there was no questioning when we asked to change room, probably because the request was evident. I would not recommend this place, it is extremely expensive, rude staff and disgusting customer service ! I’d recommend the owners to change their room allocation practice and not give a damaged room for self checkin.

Lovely old chateau not far from the north-south Autoroute at Chagny. Large room on the upper floor with good bathroom, but poor water pressure Too many stairs for a septugenerian couple! COVID restrictions meant no restaurant, but the staff didi thir best. Airconditioning/fan urgently required when too hot (as it was on our visit). Nice garden and good swimming pool. Plenty of secure parking.
