I do not always leave reviews, however, credit where it is due. The warm welcome of the receptionist and the gentleman in the restaurant were outstanding, they were super polite and spoke great English which was far greater than my poor French (i must learn this great language). The rooms were clean, light and airy and accommodated our family of 4. I can only give a five star 🌟 review because they deserve that recognition. Thank you to the team at Clos Rouen-La Vaupalière, this will be our next stay in a fantastic country.

Fantastic hotel, credit where it's due, the staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was bright and spacious which accommodated a family of 4. This will be are go to hotel when back in France. Thank you to the team at Clos De La Vaupalière, amazing experience.

Ignore the fact that the hotel is on an industrial estate. Once you to turn into the car park it is secluded by trees and is like an oasis. Fantastic staff that looked after us with professionalism and courtesy.

We were looking to stay overnight somewhere not too far from Dieppe ferry terminal, and wanted somewhere a bit nicer than the B&B hotel we stayed in on our way down to the Vandee coast at the beginning of our holiday. the last night of our French holiday, ||||The hotel is, conveniently located near the motorway and although it is on an industrial estate, you don't notice that. The hotel and grounds are lovely and the staff are really friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacious, with very comfortable beds, and we had a little terrace with a small table and chairs outside. ||||They have a restaurant, however, sadly this was not open the evening we arrived. The staff gave us directions to Rouen, which is a very short drive away and has a number of good restaurants to choose from. ||||The breakfast was fantastic!|||| I would definitely recommend this for an overnight stay!

We booked for the last night of our French holiday, en route to Calais but wanted to pick somewhere a bit nicer than the usual transit hotel, as the weather was looking good and it meant the children could have a swim whilst we had a beer and a relaxing final night. ||||Good Stuff - The hotel itself is, as others mention, in an odd location on an industrial estate - but once you're on the site, you don't notice that - the grounds are lovely. The receptionist was friendly, and the room was spotlessly clean, with very comfortable beds. We were asked to pay on arrival as nobody would be on reception on the Sunday.||||Bad Stuff - there is no pool. If you look up reviews on Google you can see there are pictures uploaded by the hotel of their swimming pool, but when we got there it was a dirty hole in the ground with a "no swimming" sign next to it. Now, to be fair, their website doesn't list a pool - but their own photos uploaded to Google do. ||||There is no restaurant and the bar isn't open at weekends. This means there is literally nothing to do on site at the weekend. You have to travel to Rouen to get anything to eat, and even when you've done that, you can't get a beer when you're back in the hotel - the bar was all closed up with nobody around.||||Whilst the room was spotless and comfortable, there was coffee and tea provided, but no way of boiling water. I don't know if this was COVID related, but this wasn't mentioned or noted anywhere. No Air Con either, just so you know.||||When we got to the hotel, the room wasn't actually ready, though it didn't take long for the friendly receptionist to sort out (I actually get the sense they'd lost our booking but didn't tell us). We also realised later in the Saturday that we were not in the room we had booked or paid for - we had paid for a Prestige room that should have been bigger and with it's own Terrace - we didn't get that. But to be honest, after ten hours driving and having unpacked before we realised, we didn't

Lovely hotel with excellent rooms. Large spacious and very clean. There is no restuarant or bar but they will get food in for you. Dont be put off by this. The 3 course dinner for 19 euros was eaten in the small breakfast restuarant. It was superbly presented and the man course piping hot. The only small critisicm is the breakfast was a bit limited. The surrounding area was not good for eating out. It was on the edge of a commercial area.

We knew this was on an industrial estate from previous reviews but thought it would suit us anyway. Actually, on arrival we were quite surprised and thought the hotel looked very nice from the outside. We were allocated a room with an accessible bathroom which I wasn't pleased about as I specifically didn't select that option when booking as I don't like the wet room style where the entire bathroom floor gets wet. The whole floor was flooded within minutes of using the shower which made everything very slippery and unpleasant. I assume to try to keep the floor dry, the heating the bathroom was on high and there was no way to adjust it downwards - it hit you like a sauna when you walked in and made me feel quite nauseous. Apart from this the room was ok - clean and reasonably spacious - the window had obscured glass so we didn't have to look at the storage yard next door which I thought was a good idea. I wasn't very impressed at the numerous notices everywhere with rules - the no food in the room rule is laughable in a hotel which provides no food service at all - I really think they should since it is in the middle of nowhere but we went into Rouen to eat so it didn't really affect us. There were even rules on how to use the lift. It made me think of the old fashioned boarding house with all the petty rules and regulations. When we checked out they told us that they do offer food but that it had to be ordered in advance - since nobody told us this before our arrival or when we checked in I'm not sure how we would guess that this service was offered. The only reference to food was a leaflet in the room offering peanuts and snacks and a limited range of drinks. When we came back from Rouen after dinner - around 9.30pm - the hotel was in darkness - reception was closed and we had to swipe our key to get back in. I've come across this at budget hotels before but never one that is quite so remote - it was kind of creepy knowing you were in the middle of an industrial es

This is a lovely hotel although the location is on an industrial estate.|The staff are very welcoming even late at night and the hotel is very clean tidy and modern. The breakfast is good and is a good stopover either from Calais down to the rest of France or on the way back. It’s just gone two hours from Calais.|I would stay here again and recommend to others.|The only negative is that the rooms we had had no external windows and the stairwell outside the room can be very noisy with people coming and going late at night. Not a big issue but something to consider if you’re a very light sleeper.
