the hotel is falling apart. Everything was damp and moldy, even the rooms smelled damp and moldy. The mattress was very uncomfortable. Water leaking everywhere. The pool was disgusting and the breakfast was sad. Not worth the price at all!

It is a Novotel so the quality is fairly good. It is an attractive hotel but is located to far out to have easy access to the restaurants or anything else in central Cayenne. ||||Checking in was not easy (no surprise they do not like speaking English and were not friendly to us for "whatever reason" - you might be able to guess.) and we were given a room at first, that we learned the hard way, had not been cleaned yet. After that we did get a clean room. A very small clean room that had a balcony and view of the service area. The room was modern, clean and had the usual amenities.||||We checked into a taxi with the front desk but they clearly were not interested in helping us to leave the hotel grounds - and we were told that taxis were VERY expensive. We decided to not fight it as we were tired after a long day of traveling and so we ate at their restaurant which was surprisingly, for a hotel, a good choice. The food and drinks were expensive but were good and served by friendly bar tender and wait staff. The hotel has a nice pool that unfortunately we were to late to enjoy.

We had a great stay at Novotel Cayenne. Very good breakfast that is included! Family room rate for 99 Euro was good. Restaurant at night excellent. People very helpful and friendly. Great cocktails from Eric the bartender!! We were there with 2 kids (8 &11 yrs).The family room we had was very small! We managed, and didn't have negative impact on stay, but the rooms looked bigger on the internet. Rooms were clean. Beach nearby, 1 minute walk next to the Hotel! Very nice!! Would stay there again!

I had a great experience staying two nights in the Grand Hotel Montabo. The hotel is in a quiet area of Cayenne, 5min by car from the centre. The hotel is big with big common areas and a great swimming pool. The room is comfortable and neat. Breakfast in the mornings had an diverse of choices and we also tried the restaurant, really good and fresh. The staff was very attentive all the time. I totally recommend staying here.

The hotel is nice, with a good garden and a swimming pool. Very close to the seaside, with a relaxing beach, where you can even make a run or walk. There is not a direct access to the sea, you have to go out from the hotel, in any case we are talking about 100 m distance. There is a breakfast buffet, good but not so rich. Rooms are clean, with free wi-fi.||The problem is the cost, really expensive if you consider the general level

Hotel feels little outdated. You could smell moisture in the corridors and the room. Bed was comfortable but it would be nice to have different choice of pillows. ||Big plus was that it was quiet.||||Breakfast is basic but good. ||Staff speaks English and there was no problems in communication.||||Biggest drawback is Wifi, no coverage in the room. And there is no cable connection either. Not good if you travel for business.

My favorite hotel! No more words needed!! Rates are acceptable, hospitality on point, rooms wonderful, pool always clean! Food not the best but eatable! I loved it|If the person(s) stay there is someone of nature well you’ll love the beach view, and the turtle watch at nights

Hotel is nice just on a beach but a bit far away from downtown. Breakfast good, dinner so and so. Service quality to improve in the restaurant. Room air conditioning not 100% efficient. Rooms in any case good and confortable.
