Having read negative reviews, we were a bit worried, but we had a great stay at Les Alpages de Reberty. We stayed for a week as a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids) for skiing, and it couldn’t have been better. We stayed in a renovated apartment which had 2 bedrooms. It was slightly dusty in places, but otherwise clean, and the furniture and decor was great. It’s not brand new, but it’s not old, and it’s no worse than any other ski chalets we’ve stayed in. There was plenty of storage. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment and had everything we needed for a week. It was great to have a locker for our skis, and although the pool was cold, it was good. The car park was also good. The location was amazing, and everyone at reception (both before our trip and during) was so helpful. We’ll be back!
Extremely Disappointed – Unhygienic and Poor Management I had a deeply upsetting experience at this hotel. The management seems completely indifferent to hygiene standards and guest feedback. The Bed/Hygiene Issue: On our last day, the house rules required us to strip the bed sheets and remove the towels ourselves. This is when I discovered a massive, disgusting urine stain on the mattress. I realized I had been sleeping on this for the entire week. I informed the staff in person immediately, and I also detailed the situation in the official post-stay survey the hotel sent me. Despite reporting this through their own feedback system, I have received zero apologies and zero explanation. It is clear they do not clean their mattress protectors or inspect beds between guests. The Facilities While the gym wasn't the primary reason we booked, it was a significant plus for us. However, it was unusable as the machines had no power. When I informed the staff, their only response was that they "didn't know how to fix it." It’s frustrating when the amenities that help you decide on a property don't even work. Do not stay here if you value cleanliness or professional service. Finding a giant stain on your bed is a nightmare; having the hotel ignore your formal complaint about it is unacceptable.
We had a great week in the Three Valleys in part because of the almost ski-in, ski-out location of these apartments which have a supermarket, ski hire shop and good restaurant and bar on their doorstep. Reception team were friendly and helpful. However the accommodation was very small even with only 3 people in an apartment intended for 6. The decor and furnishings were tired and in need of renovations. Irritatingly, we booked a 2-bedroom apartment for 3 adults but the would be second bedroom wasn’t a room. Rather it was a tiny windowless space with bunk beds separated from the sitting area by a curtain. A bedroom is a room with a window and, especially, a door.
Small apartment, nice balcony. many of the guests spoke English so please add more English-speaking TV chanels.
I would have picked 'Good' but it is not an option, and I don't think the apartment made it in to 'Very Good'. We had a two-bedroom apartment for just 3 of us (me, my husband and our adult daughter) although in theory it would have slept 6 people. It was listed as having a bathroom and a shower room and a separate toilet, which it did, but we made the mistake of assuming that the bathroom would have a toilet, which it didn't. One loo between 3 is fine, but I don't think 1 between 6 would work very well! The furniture was good, and the beds comfortable. As is always the way with these apartments, there is very little extra space - especially in the bedrooms, and there is very little space for preparing food in the kitchenette. There were only 4 proper chairs for the dining table, and a couple of stools, but there were some folding chairs on the balcony so we were able to bring one in when other family members came for a meal. The balcony would have been lovely at a warmer time of year - it had a great view over the piste and also of the Thursday even, ing fireworks lower down the slopes. Very handy for the Reberty supermarket.
Our third visit to Les Alpages. The location is excellent and apartment good. However, the facility appears to need a renovation or at least maintenance check. Our apartment had several maintenance issues (eg handle missing from Cutlery drawer, broken shower bracket) surprising so early in the season but was otherwise nice The wellness facility is now half as big as it used to be so the saunas/hammam are crowded and in need of an update. In addition the pool was out of order for 3 days in new year week. Finally we paid for premium WiFi but we arrived at 6pm on Saturday and no one could give us the code for this until Tuesday so not worth paying for. All minor issues and we still had a nice holiday but with more care could have been avoided
Our family of four stayed in a 2-bedroom apartment for up to 6 people with easy access to the piste, The bedrooms were small with very little space around the beds. However, there was ane en-suite shower, a bathroom and a toilet and the apartment had plenty of storage place for our luggage. We were close to a Skiset ski hire shop, pub/restaurant, small supermarket and a bus stop to the town centre. The lift in our building was slow and the boot room was very basic and smelly, with each apartment allocated a single narrow cupboard barely big enough for three people's skis, poles and boots. The pool, sauna and steam room were clean and good fun. |During my stay, I learned that I'm used to more modern facilities, which were not provided by Les Alpages de Reberty.
We have nothing to say but good things about our stay at this residence in March. The 6 person flat was exactly as described and perfectly equipped for a family of 5 (1 double bed, 2 twins, and the sofa bed). Sure, you could argue that having the sofa bed unfolded takes up some room (we left it open all week), but even then the flat was absolutely big enough for us all. The 2 bathrooms helped a lot, too. The residence was also extremely quiet considering how close it is from the slopes and the 'Ferme de Reberty' bar/restaurant. We were on the 1st floor, with a balcony, and couldn't hear a thing past 7pm. The cleanliness of the apartment was spot on (the first thing we checked after reading a few bad reviews!). The kitchen was perfectly equipped, the fridge big, the beds very comfy, the pillows nice (I was worried). The flat was warm and even had underfloor heating! The ski room was old-ish yes, but served a purpose & was very accessible. The staff at reception (in a building opposite) were very helpful, the swimming pool was indeed on the coldish side, however this absolutely didn't stop our kids playing in it for one hour on two occasions. I just logged watching them and was perfectly happy with that. The pool room is quite spectacular. The reception lobby is very comfortable too, and we sat there on a couple of occasions reading books. People even take drinks there, and toddlers have a play-pen they can play in, Location wise: it is simply UN-BEA-TA-BLE. Les Menuires is very much a kids-friendly resort to start with anyway. But Families with kids: do not hesitate. It is 50m from the slopes, 1min down-skiing from the first lifts, for both beginners and advanced skiers, taking you to the higher summits. The Ski Schools (the ESF or the others) meet their pupils just by the residence as well (The ESF have a lodge right there). It couldn't be easier. The bus stop (to go further down to La Croisette, where the main restaurants are) is also a 2 min walk away from the res
