I came here on my own as was staying in Bordeaux for one night. the venue was lovely and welcoming was very busy and the atmosphere was lovely. One member of staff went far beyond as i accidently left my phone there. He phoned me and we sorted collecttion. I had a flight first thing this morning. He waited for me to run and collect it. I will always be so greatful for him waiting and letting me collect. He saved me so much money and time . Will definetely go back when im next in Bordeaux. Lovely Venue / Staff and atmoshphere ...

The only game in town but with a great local spirit and convivial owner/bartenders. Don't expect big things. This is a throwback to 1970s wholesome sweet gay bar and that is just the way the owners want you to feel. Yes there is a small dark room in back ( which the owner lovingly called the "intimate conversation area" ) but that is not the draw - the old school vibe is. Recommended as a post dinner bit of fun .

Buster is an awesome old school gay bar. If you’re queer and in Bordeaux, you must go. The owner is a local treasure of English vintage (like much of Bordeaux). He pours strong drinks and offers great conversation and excellent local guidance in French and English. Merci pour une excellente soirée!

Such a gem of a venue. Wonderfully friendly owner who really made our night with his fantastic sense of hospitality. Felt like a true community bar with great music and fun vibe. If you are LGBT+ and in Bordeaux then a visit to Buster is a must.

A warm welcome awaits you at Buster now Bordeaux’s only gay bar. The owners are super friendly and the place is busy on a Friday night. Definitely worth a visit!

I have not been here 5 minutes and the bartender is wonderful and welcoming. I read the reviews before I came and this is the place for sure. LGBT friends, It’s a small tavern like bar. Friendly as I mentioned. If you’re out for a touch of gay while in Bordeaux you have found it! 11/26/2023

I had a great experience with my husband that we were celebrating his birthday🥳. All staff were very friendly with us and welcoming to speak multiple languages ( French, English and Portuguese) that made us feel so comfortable with appetizers provided and a lovely wine and beer for a Sunday night. It is definitely a place that we will return in Bordeaux in the future 💙🇫🇷🏳️‍🌈☘️.

had a great experience at this bar. The bartender was very friendly and made sure that everyone was having a good time. The atmosphere was laid-back. The people there were mostly older. I would definitely recommend this bar to anyone looking for a relaxed, casual place to hang out and have a drink.
