A great small brewery, nice beer good service and a pleasant atmosphere.

We found this brewery on Google maps. Its only a few miles off the main road and well worth a small detour.

Beautiful experience at WB while touring Bergues in search of epic « Bienvenue chez les chtis » spots. The brewery is in a former butcher shop. 5hl capacity. Plenty of beers on tap with mostly classic styles. Julien and Aurelie hosted us like best friends do. We loved the authenticity, the atmosphère, the friendship, the music and the beers of course. Thanks for making our day special!

Finally the lovely walled town of Bergues has a beer destination. Thankfully their name reflects the genuine Flemish roots of Bergues, rather than the misappropriated Ch'ti culture promoted by the 'Bienvenue chez les Ch'ti' film. The place looks like it will be a great success, tasteful renovation of the old abattoir (30,000 from EU). The beers are more than good for a new brewery, and the quality snacks are great value. I will certainly be taking a train there from Cassel one Saturday!

We found this micro brewery by accident when staying in Bergues, but unfortunately we couldn't stay long due to having 2 rowdy young boys with us who wouldn't sit still (they were very excited about our trip & Christmas). We bought a selection of beers and a glass for our Christmas drinks for a very reasonable price and I had a very happy husband! The gentleman that served us was lovely & once he realised we were English & that my French is very rusty, he very kindly spoke to us in (very good) English. The food looked great too, but unfortunately we couldn't stay to eat or sample the beers, but without hesitation we would be back - just without the children next time!

Was excited to go here as it was a former abbortoir. Its a great building for a craft beer venue, but that's where the excitement stopped. I found the lady who served us very rude. We asked for a taste of one of their beers but she refused. She continued to talk to a customer even tho she was serving us😡She then poured the beers we ordered and continued her conversation with the other customer. We obviously were not important, and her total disregard for us, made us vote with our feet and we left to drink beer in the Bar Tabac where we are made to feel welcome and our dog is given biscuits. Unfortunately we will not be returning

Tremendous tap. Lots of different beers to choose from. Lovely building. Staff are very helpful.
