MAC NAME GEORGES

I love going to Mac Carthy, the atmosphere is very good and the staff is always very nice. The prices are fair and the music makes everything better

A very pleasant outdoor space. Quite lively on a Friday evening. Beers were a little steep at 6€ but tasty. Quick, friendly service.

Great pub for French people bucking to be Irish. Good food. Minus one star for not showing the Ireland rsa game.

I have visited quite some Irish Pubs around Europe and have lived in Ireland. This is by far the worst one. I'm Dutch but I have certain expectations of Irish Pubs. This one doesn't meet any of those. The personell didn't speak a word of English, which imo is very strange for an Irish Pub. Also the guinness was an astonishing 8 euros (as in other pubs in Nancy I must say..) and to play pool costed me another 8 euros for an hour. A very expensive pub without all the Irish touches an Irish Pub is supposed to have. I hope some day Ireland introduces some kind of quality mark. 'This pub received the Irish Craic Quality Mark' or something like that. That would help keep pubs like this off the market. A real discrace for the name 'Irish Pub'.

The pool tables are really showing their age. The balls are also full of large craters, it wouldn't hurt to change them once in a while. I guess that the crowd here doesn't take the game too seriously so they don't mind.

We watched a game with my friends and it had an amazing atmosphere! Drinks and foods are ok but the atmosphere is the best :)

Pretty nice place, but for younger people. Every Thursday there's the "Café des langues" where you can meet people and practice foreign languages.

He killed our Guinness, topped the head two times with the knife, then poured the head off 3 times and all within my view. And you call yourselves an Irish pub?? Change your barman please.
