Very very well maintained golf course and beautifully designed too. Need some thinking around some of those holes, especially if you're a long hitter. Just spent a week at the resort with my family and played the golf course 3 out of the 7 days. Fabulous course. And I am South African and we have some beautiful course in SA, So i must admit its a superb course. Clubhouse has had a overhaul and the menu has changed according to my mate, and restaurant seem good although I never ate at the clubhouse we did have some beers and service was good. We will be back next year.

Food is not great, the fact is that the service was shockingly slow (90mins to get a meal), 2 of the 6 meals were cold ( steak and lamb), complained and got got reheated food instead of fresh, lack of quality service that should be expected! Didn't even stay for the kids' deserts! The reason for 2stars is the location and quality of the golf area but not the service or the quality of the cooking!

Avoid the disastrous clubhouse 'food outlet'. Service slow, quality low, prices high. Tacky clichéd attempt at 'posh'.. fails even in it's limited aim. No attempt to cater for anyone with an allergy or preference. Can't keep to the hours it offers. Waiting staff friendly.

I do not play golf and - whisper it quietly - I don't have much interest in it, at all. I don't dislike it so it's not like Marmite to me (far less yeast extracted) but I'm just not into it. You'll be as surprised as I was to learn that not only have I visited "Golf" but Google also wants me to review it. Frankly, Google, I would have thought you know me better. So then, here goes: Golf is loved by many, hated by some and is considerably meh for those of us inbetween. I believe it involves casual pastels and denim is frowned upon. You hit a ball. Then again. Sometimes it goes where you want. Mostly not. When you've hit it enough times, you must putt it. Putting is hitting but don't call it that. You do not hit with a putter. After a while, the ball goes into a hole which may or may not have a numbered flag. They like to keep the holes numbered so they can easily count them up, to ensure none have been robbed. The first person to hole their putt (hit the ball into the hole, to you and me) gets some mild and insincere congratulations before moving on to the next hole to repeat it all again. You keep repeating until someone is declared King or Queen Golf and all the competitors perform a salutary dance, bearing shawls of the same non-denim pastel as is found on the King or Queen's limbs. Having completed all of the holes, all competitors retire to the "Clubhouse" to discuss and ridicule each other's performance and to discuss wood and iron, accompanied by white wine spritzer and mini cheddars. As dusk falls, the tired and inebriated athletes return to their homes to regale their partner and children about their golfing exploits before retiring early to sleep off the spritzers and repeat the whole exercise the following day. 5 stars. Have a hearty breakfast.

Amazing and wonderfull golf course in the forest, amazing wiew, not too much dificult from back tees but nice to play, greens fast and maintain of fairways good. Training areas aree really good, mats and grass practice. The yardage book is corect and the distances are true, also, exact flag positions. Amazing course !

Large campsite, we stayed with eurocamp. Several pools, including wave pool, "indoor" pool, slides. There's plenty of activities for kids. Food prices aren't too bad in the shop and the restaurants.

Poor course. Bunkers awful, greens just been tined and sanded, so equally awful. Blind doglegs and shots everywhere. Practice facilities broken, changing rooms shabby. Banal course avoid.

Wonderful surroundings with many sights, tree houses, old structures, great bar and food to boot!
