SCI PORT MARSEILLAN I

This is a truly charming town. The port is long and thin with cafes and restaurants all around the pedestrianised waters edge. The range of eating houses is good from cheapish and cheerful to a couple that are more refined. We visited over the second weekend in September when the town held it's first Art and Culture festival. It opened with a giant dragon paraded through the streets. It was truly spectacular

Great location two top guys running the Marina, really helpful one speaks great English Highly recommend. Really good Market on Tuesday Mornings. Lots of restaurants. 🍺🍺

We were lucky to see the jousting in the harbour. Fairly equal between blue and red as to who got a good soaking

Visited the Vermouth establishment. Lovely harbour.

Nice place. The €62 one night charge for a 13.5m vessel was a surprise. That buys a lot of Noilly Pratt in the local factory.

Be very careful of this place if you are a boat owner. I had an ENGINE of all things stolen here. It was left in a fenced off compund next to the marina and would have taken a forklift truck to lift it. Suspect marina staff who have been extremely unhelpful in the matter.

Great Atmosphere and environmentally Excellent.. The port is alongside "Ethang de Thou" Lake with a superb view of the surrounding Villages..

Stayed here while cruising in the south, nice Port, restaurants close by, supermarkets a bit further away but easy walking distance, friendly service, will stay here again.
