We had a great experience at the Belambra Beach Club in Gien. The general set-up is very cosy and well speaced out for different activities with kids. I would also like to thank the entertainment team which shared a lot of their energy for the kids to have a good time. They were creative and friendly without being overwelming. I also really liked the swimming lessons offered by the lifeguard adapted to all ages.

This is my first time at Club Belambra, and my whole family are disappointed. I wouldn't recommend this resort. It's not worth the €6,000 for two weeks!!!! And it's only half-board, with no drinks included. The room was tiny, with no space for luggage and no sofa to sit on. The room was damp, and because the bathroom had no window, it reeked of sewage. I bought disinfectant and sprayed it myself, and the staff came to clean it, but the stench persisted. The food was decent, but the tables were always messy, The pool is not very clean. The beach area was small. The water wasn't blue. The staff seemed tired. The kids' club staff were friendly.

While the location is like a little spot of paradise, the lack of lifeguard when many children are playing in the water is a major safety risk. Is is sad that this place is putting lives at risk for the sake of saving money, just because the interpretation of the French law regarding this matter allows it. I hope that management will show responsibility regarding the matter before a disaster will hit.

The location is beautiful and the hotel really good. A real highlight is Ohan, the tennis coach. He gave me great tips that improved my tennis instantly. Definitely 5+ stars for him.

Great stay for the 4 of us (2 adults 2 kids). |Buffet was good (only comment: coffee should be included for lunch & dinner! ). |Accommodation (« Les Pins ») was great (in the middle of the trees). |Kids club (Junior) was fun and full of activities. We went for some swimming lessons for one of the kids (5) with Stéphane: great and fun experience with presents and a diploma for the kids. Stéphane is full of energy and has a great pedagogy. |Tennis lessons (5 days) were great too with Aurélien. Diploma and presents at the end of the week. ||Looking forward to our next stay.

While the accomodation was mediocre, including questionable hygiène practices (no ice machine, instead a big bucket in which kids could touch the ice with their hands) and a shower full of mold, we will come back for the excellent swim and tennis instructors. Stephane managed to get our son excited about swimming again (when he refused other swim lessons before). Aurelien was vey patient while teaching the beginner tennis class, providing individual guidance to each student to help them progress while keeping them active and engaged.

We loved our stay. Special highlight is Stéphane, the swimming instructor. With his special technique and even more engaging personality, he helped our son (4years) overcome his fear of water. He even wants to take swimming classes now and is asking when the classes with Stéphane will continue😀Great job!
