Had a great family day out at Cité Europe on our way back home to UK from a quick getaway. There’s a fantastic selection of shops all under one roof, making it easy to spend the day browsing. The Carrefour hypermarket is a real highlight, with a wide range of groceries, fresh food, and great-value French products. Plenty of cafés and places to eat, all very family-friendly. Easy to access, spacious, and well organised — ideal for a relaxed city-style getaway with the family. Highly recommended for shopping and a great day out.
A bright, comfortable shopping centre with good variety 🛍 We visited while travelling through Calais, mainly to stop at the supermarket and pick up a few things to take back to England. Once inside, the centre felt clean, bright, and easy to walk around. It didn’t feel cramped or dingy, and the overall environment was comfortable. There was a good mix of shops spread across the floors, including clothing stores, a pharmacy, and plenty of places to eat, which gave us a lot of choice without needing to rush. The atmosphere stood out as well. It wasn’t overly crowded during our visit, and background music on different levels added to the relaxed feel. There were also a few leisure-style features around the centre, which made it feel more than just a place to shop, even though we didn’t have time to try everything. Parking was straightforward and convenient. Finding the centre itself was easy once we were on the road, as it’s well signposted, and access in and out was smooth. Overall, it was a very pleasant shopping centre to spend time in, and it felt more comfortable than many malls I’m used to back home.
Recently found this shopping mall conveniently situated behind Eurotunnel station and 15 minutes drive to the Calais Port. Great for shopping and dining. Not massively huge and easily accessible. Shops are reasonably priced. Has a Primark, Zara, Mango, New Yorkerand a cinema etc... and parking is free. Highly recommend if you have time to kill before your departure.
Lovely shopping 🛍 center, lots of shops and restaurants at the ground level ,toilet were clean ,we will definitely return again 😀 👍.
Great little pet shop with everything you need. The staff are always friendly and genuinely helpful, happy to offer advice without any pressure. There’s a really good selection of pet supplies, well stocked and easy to browse, whether you’re popping in for essentials or something a bit more specific. Parking is also a big plus, making visits quick and convenient. All round, a lovely, reliable shop that’s well worth a visit.
Lots of shops and a huge Carrefour at one side. There is also a food court, where we ate at 'pitaya' (a Thai restaurant). The food was good and well priced, and the supermarket was excellent and stocked to the gills. The petrol station was very reasonable for diesel (less than two euros/litre), which was really helpful prior to getting onto the Eurotunnel.
Plenty of clothes shops with a food court and massive hype market here selling everything. Delivery work a look, remember a bit of Lakeside.
This is the perfect place to stop off to shop. The Carrefour is massive with some great deals and a very wide variety of products. Great for drinks, snacks, confectionary etc. There are some good places to eat and everything is within reasonable walking distance. You can expect to save a little compared to UK prices.
