Interrsting museums but it all depends on the exhibitions you get! I only like one out of 3. One eas with videos and I am not quite patient to watch it on an old TV as none of the videos were appealing at first. Another one was quite intriguing but not pleasing visuelle with pictures using blue as a cold tone. Another one was quite playful with the nice artist Jean-Claude Guillaumon, that was quite original in his pieces of art! You can always give it a try. You may like it or feel it it was too short in case you are seqlective towards thr exhibtions they have! Friendly staff and nice organisations of the collections!
Great space with large galleries displaying a variety of installations and contemporary art. They have a restaurant/cafe and a good size gift shop. Plan on spending about 1.5 hours wandering around the exhibits. I purchased my entrance ticket upon arrival and there was no line to enter.
They’re hosting a very unique exhibition. It’s definitely worth a visit if you have a city tour card.
We really enjoyed the Nature & Technology exhibition that they have going on in June. The first floor was incredible especially during the weekday when you can take your time to wander through and absorb each exhibit in the way it was intended.
The staff is rude when you ask something basic and obviously their job function as ‘can I buy a ticket, please? Also, they close more than half an hour before the official closing time. As you can see they are really hard-working people committed to their jobs.
Some beautiful pieces and a few inspiring moments, but overall the collection felt a bit limited and not very well curated. The atmosphere could be improved to make the art stand out more. Still worth a short visit if you’re nearby.
Spent a very happy Saturday afternoon here after a work conference. The work is engaging, and passionately curated and presented. Some of it is cool, some funny, some weird.. just what you want from a modern art gallery. Many people have said it's small, but I didn't find this at all there lots to see, but not so much that you can't do it all in a couple of hours. A great experience thank you!
The museum on its own is quite nice. However, the curator's complacency is disastrous. The only single task of not ruining the impression from the art pieces is masterfully failed by provincial pretentiousness of the descriptions written by the curators. If you ever visit this museum you can, in fact, do it two times: first just enjoy the artworks and the second time just enjoy the overwhelming ego of the ones who organized it.
