This location is ideal if you are looking to be in the town of Gordes! The house is even better than the photos show. Our group of 4 couples appreciated the well equipped kitchen, the tiny details like the toiletries, linens, towels and the did I mention the views are stunning for morning coffee or the evening sky. The rooms are well appointed and decorated. We enjoyed the cycling options in the surrounding areas and Mt Ventoux and found it conveniently located for day trips to L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, Aix, and Roussillon. Also great shopping and dining options that are walking distance. Host Benoit was very responsive and we look forward to visiting some of his other properties! A week wasn’t long enough and any stay will leave you wanting more. This house and host are outstanding!

We gathered as four couples to spend a week in Provence and found the perfect “home base” at Baptistin Gordes. It was an outstanding experience in every way. Benoit was attentive and available and Gordes is gorgeous in the Fall. The home is located with easy walking distance to a wine shop, cheese shop, boulangeries and a Spar grocery store for all your basics. The Gordes outdoor market is around the corner a few days a week. We recommend you stop in to Ladurée for cappuccinos and macarons, and enjoy a cocktail on the deck at La Bastide overlooking the Luberon valley. The kitchen was beautifully appointed and became a natural gathering spot for our group around meal preparation. Stacked with every imaginable kitchen tool and pan we could ever need (even a crepe pan and oyster shuckers!), and using the beautiful food products we accessed nearby, we made beautiful meals together. Benoit even recommended a local chef who joined us one evening for a Provencal cooking class. This is a house that offers an excellent array of indoor and outdoor communal spaces – a lower poolside area with room for poolside yoga in the morning and cocktails in the evening; an upper deck is the perfect spot for a sunset meal by candlelight. While it has a myriad of social spaces, the home also offers the ability to retreat for the evening in quiet, private bedroom spaces. The beds were comfortable, and each bedroom was equipped with its own newly renovated bathroom and the sheets and towels and robes and slippers were all of very high quality. Excellent in every way!

Exeptional !!! What a marvellous place ! Incredible house fully top level furnished (plancha, baby-foot, wireless speakers, mega screen tv…), great quality and design decoration… Maybe the best place to stay in Gordes if you don’t want to be in an hotel, with Benoît always ready to answer any demands to make our stay a great moment. We are 3 couples with teenagers and we used to spend our holidays together and we all have a fantastic time. We’ll be back 👍🏻
