Exceptional art nouveau mansion on an island. Very informative guides (this is not a place you can wander around) for both the house and the music room - which is huge.

Visually stunning, this place is a must see! The villa itself is only accessible with a guide and several tours in French or English are offered. Our guide for the hour long visit, Olivia, spoke excellent English and was able to share her obvious passion for this incredible place. I found the booking page slightly confusing and ended up paying for a child place that should have been free… next time I will call to book. It would be interesting to show the state in which the building and furnishings were in before the restorations because it makes you realise the skill of the restoration artists and craftsmanship that was necessary, but also the full extent of these restorations. Truly fascinating. We will visit again. We arrived by train and enjoyed a short walk to reach the entrance of the chateau.

WOW WOW WOW this is a superb visit The park, alongside the river, is beautiful and very calming. It took 25 years for this restoration and the attention to detail is exquisite. SO many WOW moments I will be going back for a second visit.

Beautifully renovated, and well worth the guided visit. The interior paint, furnishings and stained glass are amazing! Definitely book online a few days ahead of your visit.

Guided visit is 18€ per adult! Garden is nice but new (small plants). You can visit the ground freely (during opening hours) and use nice restrooms. There is a small coffee shop on the grounds.

I enjoyed my visit the Сhateau. We booked our tour in advance on the official website. Recommend to book the same way. Chateau works not every day. My husband knows French and he enjoyed listening to the guide. I know English, so I used the online app. The Chateau is very impressive! I wished I had taken a longer tour to visit the terrace as well!! I recommend visiting!

Absolutely stunning art nouveau & art deco villa, totally worth seeing if you like historical architecture! You can only visit on a guided tour but the tour is really nice, our guide Florian was very knowledgeable and friendly! There are tours available in both English and French, it’s better to book tickets in advance online, but I did see people buying tickets at the front desk. The booking website is confusing, which is the only negative thing I have to say about our visit. I was able book tickets online by emailing the help desk, so if you’re struggling to book online I recommend emailing them. Chateau Lauren’s is still being restored in some areas and you can tell they’re putting a lot of effort into the restoration. There is also a visitor’s center, bathrooms and 1 euro storage lockers that can fit a backpack. Overall I was really impressed with both the villa and the effort that’s gone into making it nice to visit.
