When I was trying to book a room for a day, I did so in error - that is, my check in dates were wrong. Within 5 mins of booking, I called Expedia to cancel the booking and requested for a full refund since I wanted to rebook again. However, Expedia let me know (after 3 days of trying to reach the hotel) that they had strict cancellation policies and I would not get my money back. Guessing they’re happy from being rich from my money even though they haven’t earned it.

Quite possibly one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in for work. I was working around the area for 10 days and each day was a pleasure to come back. |I normally avoid independent hotels because they can be hit and miss, but the L’Aiglon is simply incredible.|Nathalie and Patrick are AMAZING hosts, available when you need help or advice but they don’t intrude on your personal space.||The hotel is everything you need, parking, air conditioning, blackout blinds, desk, lots of plugs, comfy bed, amazing shower, and everything is so clean! Very quiet at night and even a terrace to enjoy the sun in the morning and evening. ||Breakfast is lovely and refreshingly simple, croissant, cereal, tea, juice and fruit, spotless restaurant and lovely and quiet. |There are lots of restaurants in the area that serve amazing food but the hotel does also have a restaurant that im sure will be delicious. ||My trip was extended and I needed to wash some clothes, nathalie allows me to use their washing machine and drier at no extra charge and even brought in my clothes when it started raining when I was at work, these little touches make it a joy to stay there!| |It really was a pleasure to come back to from work and know that everything would be as you expect. ||If I’m ever working in the area again I’ll be sure to stay there,|Thank you! |Jimmy |

We stayed elsewhere in Pegomas, but went looking for a restaurant in town. There was the fancy overpriced tourist restaurant in the centre, including free television whilst eating...not for us..!!!||We happened upon the L'Aiglon about 200 metres from the centre.||Nothing to say it's a restaurant, just a small blackboard menu propped against the wall.||Once inside revealed a traditional menu with a chef patron and his wife. Really good traditional French food at good prices. Starters of chevre chaud at 6 euros, omelette from age at 8 euros. Main course with delicious canard at 18 euros. Carafe of rose 6 euros. Mrs Wood wanted me to say that the mousse chocolate was delicious.||Definitely one of our best meals. Highly recommended

Originally booked for 3 nights but only stayed for 2! Room is small and unbearably hot especially as there is no air conditioning. Breakfast cost 7 euro per person per night which consisted of one croissant and a section of a baguette which seemed pretty poor value. The owner was not very accommodating and we were told not to stay in our rooms after breakfast as the cleaner had to clean the room. Bathroom was poorly designed so when the shower was used, water escaped into the hallway.

Didn’t really stay but I was totally lost in Pégomas. My battery on my phone was totally flat and I had no idea where I was and I popped in on the wonderful owners having dinner and they charged my phone and pointed me in the right direction.

Rooms are new and ok , car park available, could make the breakfast a bit better
