A very pretty building steps away from the Cannes harbour. At night it is lit with the colours of the French Flags.

To be honest three stars was generous, only because I liked the sculptures outside the front. Check them out they look great but the building itself? Don’t know, didn’t bother going in as it looked dull and boring just like the rest of Cannes. But the sculptures, check them out 👌

We have been shocked by this parallel universe of a few people who haven't heard the latest news on climate crisis & planetary boundaries in general. Yachts, super sport cars,partially with very remote license plates (don't think they drove there), and private jets starting at least every 5 minutes, all over. While the city of Cannes is of course not responsible for the behaviour of those individual people it can implement actions to counter-act, and we haven't seen any of those. The festival itself might have some attention to the topic (still ridiculous with everybody flying in), but the city seems not to have. Given the popularity & with that possibility to act as role model Cannes has to move!

not helpful at all. Found an injured seagull in my garden. Called for them for help or another contact number. All I got as response was that they are only responsible if the bird is found in public. But no alternative offered, no number who to call, just a 'je sais pas, you need to find it yourself online'.
