A must visit in Prague. The head turn show starts at beginning of every hour and goes on for 12 to 15 minutes. When the head is rotating you cannot guess it will end up facing which direction. It features many different rotating styles. Very entertaining attraction that too for free. After show ends, you can explore the mall which is located just next to it. Great work by the team which made this.

A very unique and interesting piece of art. The giant rotating head is made up of moving layers that constantly shift and come together to form Franz Kafka’s face. It’s fascinating to watch and unlike anything else in Prague. If you want to see it in motion, keep in mind that it rotates every hour for about 15 minutes. Definitely worth stopping by and watching the transformation. It’s a surprisingly mesmerizing sight

This is a famous place in Prague, and I love it. I recommend visiting on the hour because the monument moves every hour. If you are in Prague, you should definitely visit it.

The Rotating Head of Franz Kafka by David Černý is one of Prague’s most striking modern sculptures. Made of rotating stainless-steel layers, the head slowly moves and constantly changes shape, creating a fascinating, almost hypnotic effect inspired by Franz Kafka’s themes of identity and inner conflict. Usually surrounded by crowds of people willing to take photos. If you like this artwork, Prague offers many more famous pieces by David Černý, including the Babies on the Žižkov TV Tower and Kampa, the provocative Piss sculpture near the Kafka Museum, the upside-down Hanging Man (Viselec) in the city center, and the giant crawling Babies at Kampa Museum. Together, they make exploring Prague’s contemporary public art especially fun and memorable.

As someone who loves Kafka’s work, seeing the rotating Kafka Head in person was strangely emotional. The constant movement and fragmented reflections feel exactly like something out of his writing. It’s unsettling, fascinating, and impossible to fully understand. It’s modern, surreal, and somehow captures Kafka’s spirit better than a traditional monument ever could.

It's a free attraction. Fully rotating every hour. It's interesting to see surrounding so many old building that have a very modern cool rotating head. Also restaurants and a shopping mall there too. Muat visit when you're there were.

One of the iconic attractions to visit in Prague. The rotating Franz Kafka Head is an impressive piece of engineering and a true marvel to watch. The movement of the sculpture is fascinating, and the surrounding area is also beautiful. I really enjoyed visiting it and would definitely recommend stopping by if you're in Prague.

Visiting the Kafka Head was an absolutely fascinating and unforgettable experience. This massive rotating sculpture of Franz Kafka is a true masterpiece of modern art and engineering. Made of multiple mirrored steel layers that continuously rotate and realign, the structure creates a mesmerizing effect that perfectly reflects Kafka’s complex and surreal legacy. Watching the sculpture move is hypnotic one moment it appears fragmented and chaotic, and the next it perfectly reforms into Kafka’s face. It’s creative, futuristic, and incredibly symbolic. Located in the heart of Prague, the artwork adds a modern artistic contrast to the city’s historic architecture, making it even more impressive. Overall, an extraordinary landmark innovative, artistic, and truly unique. A must see in Prague.
