Lovely area with loads of history and a mix of museums nearby. A good sized local market. Loads of small shops and usual gift shops. Found a very old small church in a street behind the main road.
Amazing town, lovely beach its is small but you can find somewhere to seat, The water was lovely warm,We didn't eat out as we had our breakfast on our cruise, But there loads of little places to eat, But I didn't notice any English meun??friendly in shops so helpful xx
Arrived on a cruise,this was the view from our balcony. Enjoyed walking around Ajaccio, went to the beach esplanade adjacent to the cathedral. Then wandered around the old town a very enjoyable time.
Corse is beautiful untouched nature really a hidden jem. Lots to do Those are photos of Ajaccio, Corsica

Busy with only really history sites and over priced market stalls... Just IMHO..
It's a great port to visit.
Awesome views, great beaches and warm waters... what more can you ask for?
