A cozy Italian restaurant with warm interior and nice welcoming by the owner Emilio. I went there without reservation but was welcomed by the the owner who advised on the menu and managed to provide a vegetarian option (Melenzane Parmigiana). Food was very good and service was excellent. Since the owner is Italian, he provided me with a recommendation for a good Italian restaurant for my next destination in Milan, so thank you Emilio.

Eating at Emilio was an experience I’ll never forget. From the starters to the mains to the desert, everything was unbelievably good. In the starter platter, the aubergine and burrata were to die for. In the mains, my partner and I shared this gorgeous seafood platter. The octopus in the platter was hands down the softest, most perfectly cooked octopus we’ve ever had. So was the rest of the seafood. And the sauce it was cooked in was also delicious. My friend ordered a seafood pasta which she said is the best seafood pasta she’s ever had. Really wanna go there again. Definitely in my top 5 restaurants in the world. The owner is also such a gem. He’s super fun to converse with and gave us the best good suggestions.

Wonderful host/owner - very friendly and kind. I enjoyed the duck breast paired with gnocchi and a great Chianti! Very nice place and the Tiramisu was the best I’ve ever had!!

Great food, great service, what more could you ask for. Will definitely be back for more. I really enjoyed the polpi.

We thoroughly enjoyed all the food - burrata and eggplant, polpi (octopus) seafood platter, carbonara, papardelle, tiramisu, and pistachio cannoli! Amazing atmosphere, wonderful service. I would love to visit again. Thank you for having us!

I went there in a terrible weather but the delicious food made my day. we were lucky to get a table without booking(I guess because of the thunderstorm lol). the scollop pasta is wonderful, there signature dish the spicy seafood is really good too.

Just had lunch with colleagues today. The service is very good and the food is served quickly. The atmosphere is cosy and earthy, I liked it. I had the lasagna and my husband a carpaccio parmesan salad, both €15. The lasagna was good but not worth having a second time, just a plain good lasagna but nothing special about it. The same goes for the salad, carpaccio with big chunks of parmesan. The presentation of both dishes was mediocre as you can see in the pictures. Overall, I give the restaurant 3 stars, Emilio deliver very good and quick service but they lack that " finesse" in their recipes (so far I could judge) and the dishes are simply overpriced..

My wife and I really wanted to like this place. The first dish my wife ordered came out with what looked like Elmer's Glue on it. It didn't taste any better. The second dish my wife tried was the buccatini with clams. The noodles weren't buccatini and they weren't cooked properly either. They were hard in the center and about 2 minutes from being considered al dente. Multiple clams had sand in them and that sand got into the pasta sauce. An Italian place that can't cook pasta... Mind-blowing. My artichoke pasta was good, but the desserts were ok. The bread served with the meal was stale. The person who served us also made unnecessary comments about how a dish we ordered was too big for two people. Had to ask multiple times for the bill at the end as they walked around ignoring us. We finally got the bill after waiting for 20 minutes and then they never came back for credit card payment. We had to leave the last of our cash so we could leave since they apparently didn't want us to pay. We paid 90 Euros for a small cheese platter, stale bread, pasta with glue on it (switched it with undercooked not buccatini pasta with sandy clams), ok artichoke pasta, an ok cannoli with soggy pistachios, bad "homemade" tiramisu, and water to drink. Definitely not worth it.
