D’aqui makes the best socca in Nice! We know because we tried a lot of different ones. They make it fresh for you when you order it. It’s crispy on one side and a little chewy on the other with lots of peppery goodness throughout! We also had the barbichons (sp?) which they were hand making while we waited for our socca. Also delicious. Add a glass of wine or a beer or an Italian soda and you’ve got a terrific lunch or snack!

We went here after friends had spoken about it, then I saw a review on youtube. We turned up expecting a queue, but we were early enough. Got the selection of specialities as that's what we like and every single thing was excellent. It was obviously all made with care that day. We ordered a few beers, and ended up eating loads, then ordering socca, along with some chickpea based beer which was the perfect accompaniment and all reasonably priced. Can't wait to go back, but this time for the desserts which we'd eaten too much to try.

My partner and I went there this afternoon and I’m glad we did! The man handling the store is very friendly and very attentive to his customers. Amazing and delicious food. Highly recommended!

Visiting from Montréal. A REAL taste of Nice! I recommend. The Socca and Barbajuan's are delicious. :) ;) Sorry but we found this on our own not from a stupid TV show.

We ordered socca, a nicoise salad and 2 glasses of white wine. The socca was very tasty and the salad was tasty as well although it was not fresh. As for the price we paid 25,50 for the above which is OK for Nice. The staff was very friendly.

Very nice place to grab a snack and recharge the batteries. Best barbajuans in Nice, especially truffe & ricotta. Very friendly owner. Highly recommended!
