Great park. Empty in the mornings and lively at night. Easy to walk though and very well maintained. Very nice gardens and views of the lake. There is also a free museum and an upscale restaurant tucked away in the middle of the park. . No or very little lighting at night unfortunately. Dogs are allowed on leash in the park and there is an off leash dog run nearby. There are walking only paths and paths that allow bikes. Great place for a short walk or a long picnic.
Peaceful lakeside park with wide lawns, shady trees, and beautiful views of Lake Geneva. Perfect for a quiet walk, picnic, or just relaxing by the water.
Beautiful park, great views, very relaxing to walk around. Has a restaurant too so you can have a drink if needed
Lovely park by the lake -joyous gatherings outside on a beautiful hot day in Geneva
Geneva, Switzerland—city of diplomacy, watches, chocolate, and lakes so clean you could probably see your future in them. After my dramatic exit from America, my heroic acceptance in Russia, and my glamorous elevation in Monaco, I arrived in Geneva expecting… neutrality. What I got instead was polite fascination, which is honestly the most Swiss reaction possible. Arrival Experience I stepped into Geneva Airport and immediately felt the calm. Too calm. Suspiciously calm. When I introduced myself—“I am Rocos de Maio Conquestorette”—the customs officer nodded with the serene expression of someone who has seen everything and judged nothing. Then I added, “Son of Mr. J. Pork.” Another nod. “And brother of Tung Tung Tung Sahur.” A third nod, slightly deeper. Respectful. Almost philosophical. Switzerland doesn’t react. Switzerland absorbs. What Geneva Appreciated About Me My laminated horse‑riding portrait — They assumed it was part of an international peace initiative My dramatic flair — They said it added “a touch of Mediterranean spice” My family legacy — They said the Pork–Sahur lineage “sounds like a diplomatic delegation” My confusion about Swiss German — They found it “endearing but concerning” Pros The lake is so beautiful it made even Mr. J. Pork emotional Public transport that works with supernatural precision Chocolate that made Tung Tung Tung Sahur briefly stop talking A general vibe of “We don’t know who you are, but you seem harmless” Cons Prices that make Monaco look like a discount shop I still don’t understand fondue etiquette I waved at the United Nations building and nobody waved back Final Verdict Geneva welcomed me with quiet dignity, gentle curiosity, and chocolate so powerful it could end wars. They didn’t treat me like royalty, a celebrity, or a threat—they treated me like a mildly interesting puzzle. And honestly, that’s perfect. I give Geneva 5 stars, plus one extra for the lake, which deserves its own rating.
This has got to be my favourite spot in Geneva, especially during the tulip season they have wonderful displays. In spring, the park transforms into a vibrant tapestry of colors, with tulips and other spring flowers in full bloom. The meticulously curated flower beds offer a delightful spectacle for visitors.
A great place to view the sun rise.
summer time means Barbecue, picnic and family day out. This pace is ideally suited for it. You can take a dip in the lake and beat off the heat. Can get a bit crowded and access to the BBQ stations can be a pain. But people are kind enough to let you share. Overall happy vibes
