Beautiful old (perhaps a bit disheveled) church. But I liked it a lot! Interesting was that the church has altars to all sides, which is perhaps not surprising to side chapels, but it has two main altars (well one is main altar of Saint-Jacques and opposing it is the same size altar on the other side of the nave, which constitutes a chapel of the “La Sanch” confraternity).

Very beautiful church, valuable works of art by local masters from the 14th to 18th centuries, but the entrance to the temple through rows of garbage bins, past piles of homeless people's belongings, through a small door - all this was very disappointing. It would also be great, for example, to have more detailed information about the exhibitions, for example about each chapel, or about the beautiful sculptures made of Carrara marble.

Make sure that you ask to visit the garden after looking inside the church.

Unfurtunately in a part of the old City that you don't want to visit....

굉장히 아름다운 교회예요. 지어진지 오래됐다는데 보존상태도 굉장히 좋고 설명이 잘 되어있어서 조용히 천천히 보기 좋아요

On en entend beaucoup parler mais on la voit si peu! Il y a un petit jardin à l'arrière qui surplombe les remparts médiévaux. Récemment la municipalité a ajouté une clôture de mauvais goût devant le magnifique et délicat porche d'entrée de la façade Sud. On a hâte qu'ils l'enlèvent ! Très bel orgue à l'intérieur

L’église Saint-Jacques est l’une des plus belles églises de Perpignan. Construite au XIIIᵉ siècle, elle est de style méditerranéen catalan et fut fondée comme paroisse du quartier. Elle a été restaurée et agrandie aux XIXᵉ et XXᵉ siècles, avec l’ajout de chapelles latérales et d’éléments décoratifs baroques. Lieu de culte important pour la communauté gitane, l’église se distingue par sa nef très large et son immense clocher.
