The most wonderful environment and atmosphere you can find for a Belle Epoch experience. Love the fact that the waiters all wear the old fashioned service outfits and they are mostly very professional and helpful. The food was better than I expected, but still not as good as it could be. Grilled flank steak was very flavorful but the sauce béarnaise looked like it had been sitting out a long time before being served. It was super tasty though…and even had tarragon in it! Chocolate Mousse tasted a little “old” and did not have the spongy texture one wants in a delicious mousse. The Profiteroles also didn’t taste super fresh and the ice cream was a bit thin/watery. Overall though, a great experience—fun, festive. Something really special.

Great classic French dishes! Fresh seafood and prepared simple with elevated flavors! Service was hein with a long wait from being seated to meeting our waiter and ordering. Dishes took some time after each courses but the atmosphere and the taste compensated for it! Difficult to find same quality and execution for similar price elsewhere in Paris!

Classic belle Epoque dining hall with accompanying classic french menu. Seafood the focus here with oysters and lobster to the fore. However meat lovers will be happy with the entrecote and AAAAA andouilette.

Overall dining experience was good, waiters greeted and serving us politely. We didn’t make reservation and luckily managed to find us a nice seating place for two. First time trying Foie gras, not sure how to eat it. Haha… manage to find on YouTube and try it out. My wife and I like the escargot; while duck and fish is so so. Duck is at a bit salty side while fish is to pale taste. Maybe it’s French styles of cooking that I need to adjust my taste.

We paid our first visit here on the recommendation of our hotel reception without a reservation mid week. We loved it so much that we booked a second visit two days later! The building is stunning. The staff were welcoming and very tolerant of our lack of french, offering an english menu. The service was unobtrusive, helpful, very efficient and the waiter had a great sense of humour. The food was delicious and varied.

Beautiful place to have family over. The atmosphere was cozy, the decor amazing and the service excellent. The meal was delicious. Try the lobster! Merci pour tout!

Food was good but the service while good, can be slow at times. Place is nostalgic but clean and tidy.
